I think the band is fine although I would love it if Rkid had some proper vocal support on Morning Glory, Slide Away, Be Here Now etc.

Nice one - 7 for me. Beautiful World is a tune. Best of the bunch so far. Still can't hear the scissors in the mix though. And to be fair I had no idea what a multi-instrumentalist she is...tin whistle, scissors and now megaphone. Oh yes and a multi-linguist. Great bass line - good backing vocals from him as well(something Liam's band is sorely missing) Chris Sharrock is still my favorite Gallagher drummer. He was mega on the last tour w/ Oasis. And Gem!
And before anyone goes on about scissor girl - if Liam - or Noel - had a pink elephant on stage with him, I'd mention that too. Cheers

I do however miss Noel's backing vocals, especially on Slide Away & Be Here Now...''yeah yeah yeah"

Indeed the radio mix was far superior and is a much better listen. Rkid has had a grueling schedule and for the most part the BBC gig was tops

One month in and I'm still only skipping WIIN on the standard version. I love the Greedy Soul live take on the deluxe and the Spotify singles have been a lovely addition. Worthy of a Grammy nod for Album Of The Year - wouldn't that be something!
"Dickhead down in the front - don't be throwin' yer beer up here 'cause we got loads a things up here - yeah - and it busts - and then we gotta go home. Y'know what I mean? So just keep yer drinks to yerself...ya fookin' Belgian"

I still listen to Beady - especially love live takes of Wigwam , Sons Of The Stage & The Morning Son. I don't and never have, hated on Bring The Light, Millionaire, etc...it's just rock 'n' roll.

I’m all for the Noel criticisms - mostly because I think he’s turned into a complete dick and disappeared up his celeb-primed arse - but I think those on here who are saying put the brakes on and see how the album works as a cohesive whole still have a point. I think HM is turgid schmaltz...but it kinda makes sense when it follows FK. Noel is still a spoon though 🙂 Is Noel the big spoon or the little spoon 🥄 ? Teaspoon

Seems to me if you watch and listen to old BBC broadcasts >>> The Who, The Yardbirds, Zep, Neil Young, Peel etc. They knew how to do it in past times. Also German TV engineers seemed to get it it right. They were way ahead of the curve then. American shows always sounded shit until maybe Don Kirshner rock concert broadcasts. I get what everyone saying now though. BBC has been amazing at preserving the old stuff though. I always give them credit for that. My two pence Back then the BBC had the pick of the best technical behind the scenes talent and little competition. Nowadays they probably outsource recording and mixing live gigs to someone else or have to do it on the cheap. It does sound really unprofessional, and this isn't exclusively Noel and Liam thing but any time I watch a performance by anyone. I work in television post production and you're 100% right on. When I came up there was a strict apprenticeship protocol in place, you watched, learned and when the mixer or editor or colorist thought you were ready, only then we're you allowed to move up. Now, if someone downloads some free software, they're an expert and they'll do it cheaper than a craftsmen so they get the gig

If you have been following Oasis for 23 years, you should be grown-up enough to avoid the childish Team Liam vs Team Noel thing. This is booooooring I'm sorry Pop, I'll try to be more mature. As you were

I'm just gonna simply copy/ paste what I wrote about NGHFB last night b/c I can't be arsed about typing it again - Cheers for the upload, much appreciated - but, I'm not having any of this. 'Adult contemporary pop', end of story. I'm not having the shawl bird either - or her whistle.Sorry. For God's sake Noel please have some fatty foods. I love Oasis, my favorite band of all time but I'm not having this - save for Gem and Chris - send them over to the keeper of the flame - see last night's Belfast gig for details - it's just rock'n' roll Cheers ok, you don't like it, fair enough. Then, why are you still here suffering ? Just go another place where they talk about the artists that you like Am I not allowed to give my opinion about an artist's performance or product that I have been an avid follower of for the past 23 years? The first three tracks have been a disappointment to me and that's all I'm expressing. To imply I'm suffering is an exaggeration. Maybe you should go to another place where no one disagrees with your opinions about the chief. Liam is legend and his comeback is more than I could ever have hoped for, it seems to me that the legacy of the band matters to him and I respect and appreciate that. And let's be honest - the scissors are ridiculous and "Fly" is weak. Parka Monkey For Life.

The performance sounded like ''Adult Oriented Pop'' to me. And I'm not having the shawl girl and her scissors - or her whistle. Someone please get Noel a steak and chips.

It's really great to see the evolution of the crowd's reaction to AYW songs.

Honestly, after Beady Eye folded I'd never thought I'd see this in a million years. What an incredible comeback for Rkid. I'm over the moon
