Had Liam completely given up on his BE material and just performing Oasis covers?

Had Liam completely given up on his BE material and just performing Oasis covers? Yes the only covers he has done recently are Oasis covers.

Wouldn't mind hearing him sing The Roller, Flick of the finger or Four Letter Word again. the rest can stay gone for me personally.

I like BE but I think the best he can do is let it rest for now, people doesn't need a reminder that he "failed", this is about a successful comeback now.

He sings only Oasis songs from the 90s so it's not only about Beady Eye, he is not doing cover of any song written in this century.

I think it would be a little bit strange to come back, wish to establish yourself as a solo artist and then play a lot of songs from your last band that was not that successful. Its like having Andy and Gem in the band again. I wouldn't mind by the way - I like Gem and his guitar playing.

Would be absolutely moronic to play any Beady Eye stuff.
We don't need to remind people again.

It would also be confusing for the new/old casual Oasis listening audience who might think the Beady Eye songs were his new solo material at gigs.

If Beady’s Here Now visits one of Liams gigs in the US I hope Liam play DGSS. Twice.

Had Liam completely given up on his BE material and just performing Oasis covers? What's the matter with you? Sing me something new.

I don't miss any Beady Eye song. The only song I still listen to occasionally is FOTF and I'm sure that song just wouldn't work live, so it's not a major mistake or anything to leave them out in my opinion.

Flick of The Finger, FLW and Wigwam I'd be happy to hear again.

FOTF & FLW would sit well I think. Although I'd put songbird, Columbia and Supersonic above this.
And of course rockin chair and round Are Way, hoping they are likely to make an apprarence... here's hoping

Most BDI songs are not a good fit for the setlist Liam is playing at the moment. "Flick of the Finger" would be a nice addition alright but like GasPanicNic said, this song would not work live. At least not with the live band LG has at the moment, unless he hires a horn section.

Because they aren't worthy. Extremely happy he left BE stuff out.

I think he should play 1 Beady Eye song per gig. But only the best from them. So Flick of The Finger. Four Letter Word. The Roller. Evil Eye. Off At The Next Exit. Back After The Break. That's a good amount to choose from and he could switch it up per gig.
But I'd be okay with nothing from them at all.

Had Liam completely given up on his BE material and just performing Oasis covers? Hopefully, the gigs go quiet enough playing his new stuff without breaking out into fucking Soul Love.

He should play oasis songs he wrote as well... I'm outta time or songbird would be top to hear again. Really? I imagine he'd butcher them, they're too tender to sing in a live electric environment, it would get really nasally, I'd rather he stuck to the more in your face songs, not only is the vocal more pleasing to the ear he also gets a little bit of cover from the instrumentation if he needs it, on a softer song there's nowhere to hide really.

I don't think it would be that bad, he managed to do a really good job with acapella version of live forever. So with the instruments covering for him during I'm outta time or songbird, it would help out a lot, as live forever is probably a harder song to sing than the other two.

I don't think it's an issue of the notes necessarily, it's how he tries to hit the notes, Liam seems to do throat or nose, Live Forever is quite a loud song (I also don't think it's particularly hard to sing apart from the falsetto bit which Liam lets the crowd do) and so he sings it in the same way he does rock n roll star etc. IOT he sings much softer but it seems so strained, the same way he sang For Anyone with BE, it would be painful. Just listened to Songbird and don't think that would be too bad for him to sing actually and would quite like to hear it but I'm Outta Time would suck, I'm calling it now, I kind of hope he does do it now just to see if I'm right or not but I feel the tone he'd be using to try and hit the "If I'm to fall" would grate on the ears.

I hope he did give up on it. I'd much rather hear anything from Oasis than BE. I mean, it's pretty safe to say 95% of BE fans were Oasis fans as well, so Oasis tunes got to be the safest choice.
Also, felt great to hear RNRS, MG, DKWIM and Be Here Now again. And I really mean all of them, they sounded great. Can't see the same feeling happening with BE songs for the majority.

Four Letter Word, The Roller, The Morning Son, Wigwam, Flick of the Finger, I'm Just Saying (yes, I'm just saying i love this one. It feels like cheap 90s, which in the 2010s is good enough for me), Evil Eye. All great. But in this stage and for this tour. Not a good idea.
