He really likes that eagle vs. pigeon thing, that's the 3rd time now! In The Q Interview, Dorian Lynskey hears about the boundary-busting Who Built The Moon?, his enviable work-life balance, and why Liam is going to remain frustrated: “I’m trying to soar like an eagle and I’m being asked to comment on the ramblings of a common pigeon.” www.greatmagazines.co.uk/q-print-single-issues/eqqqespi/q-december-2017

That ''common pigeon'' is a brilliant singer with a hit album

isnt it better to be a common pigeon if youre a public figure? surely it means youre a man of the people and not a part of the RnR establishment looking down on everyone else and where you came from?

Noel, don't be ashamed of admiting you've been listening to Laura Marling

I've never actually noticed how tall/long Noel's head is.. I don't know where his hair marks the top of his head. I hope this interview is on a bit of a lighter note though; his other ones he's been quite serious and a little bit boring.

that's not a very flattering cover was that the best picture they got? Same deal as with Liam's covers. Photographers seem to enjoy the "dramatic" factor of highlighting the aging of iconic figures. Feels a bit exploitative to me, honestly.

Lame cover, his head is even bigger on it.

Feels a bit exploitative to me, honestly. It's becoming a weird trend, to have profile photographs... which isn't really flattering for anyone.

Noel was probably trying to find his own "POTATO" putdown of Liam. But this "pidgeon" thing is plain boring. Try again, Noel.

Common Pigeons would be a great band name though. Way better than the Eagles but still not as good as the Eagles of Death Metal.

"Most reinvigorated work in years'.
That's what we all want to hear.
Likewise, the same could be - and has been - said of Liam's new album. When critics or the artists aren't resorting to cliches like 'best since Morning Glory' I'd like to think it's suggestive of a bit more originality and authenticity in the listeners review.

Why is "what if Liam had sung it?" still a thing?
