NGHFB are on, performing new songs.
Will be a decision to make, whether to hear the new stuff live before the album. With the exception of Glastonbury I managed it for Liam's record, but I might put this show on the backburner until December.

What if there's a new single on the way, to be performed at Jools? Like It's A Beautiful World coming out the 3rd of November. I can see it happening.

Well, he needs a new single and proper promo. Holy mountain... I like it, but it's working like shit as a single. It's bad on charts, bad on Yt views, bad on streaming...

He'll be playing, like, four songs over the course of the two shows, so it'd make sense to have something else out that someone watching the show might recognise from having heard it on the radio recently.

So he's on 2 different episodes? The first show is the “live” 30 minutes broadcast and the second will the extended hour long episode.

Wow, new tunes that soon?
I guess thats great, but I guess I rather hear the studio version first, then judge the live performance...

So he's on 2 different episodes? 'Later... Live' is broadcast live to air on the Tuesday. That's half an hour. They then film an extended version that's about an hour that is aired on the Saturday.

I can see Noel only playing the two new singles (Holy and Beautiful), rest of the set will be classic HFB material.

I can see Noel only playing the two new singles (Holy and Beautiful), rest of the set will be classic HFB material. That's not the way Jools's show works. Occasionally, a star guest who's had some hit songs might close the Saturday show with one of their hits (Liam did Rock 'n' Roll Star, the last time he was on), but the rest is all new stuff. The show has sort of taken the place of Top of the Pops, The Tube, and all those other shows that used to be on to promote new music, in Britain. If you go into an HMV when there's a run on, you can sometimes see a shelf out labelled 'As seen on Later...with Jools Holland', or something like that, that'll have all the albums the artists from the last episode/s of the show were on there to plug. Noel will play THREE new songs, at the very least.

I really, really doubt the first time we'll hear Beautiful World would be on Jools Holland. I'm guessing it'll come out this next Friday, just in time to hear it next week live on Jools to help sales/streaming.

Isn't it the same episode being broadcast on two dates? no, on the extended show they play extra tracks, and sometimes a different take of the ones performed on Tuesday
