Proshot. Nailed it. 1996 right here, right now...

Of course he's not sounding like 1996, but it's almost a miracle him sounding this good in 2017!

Supersonic (doc.) was aired on TV for the very first time last night and even I watched it in a cinema twice last year and have 2 DVD's myself, I sat in my living room to watch it until the end.
Great, timeless song and great lyrics.

Proshot. Nailed it. 1996 right here, right now... And that's one after back-to-back gigs. Imagine a fresh LG

Has he had vocal surgery? He sounds as good as he's done since 2002. Can't believe he's singing Rockin' Chair and Some Might Say again.

I think Liam is just taking steps to preserve his voice further. Probably doing plenty of warmups. He's really trying compared to years past and it's showing. Good on him.

Don't think he's had surgery but he is obviously having treatment for that Hashimoto's thing. Think he mainly puts it down to a good night's kip and that tea he has for this throat. He'd been travelling overnight from Newcastle before this gig and done radio all day so it's amazing he pulled this off. It was a funny gig, one great song followed by one he struggled with. A belting Some Might Say though, it sounded even better on the radio.

Indeed the radio mix was far superior and is a much better listen. Rkid has had a grueling schedule and for the most part the BBC gig was tops

I do however miss Noel's backing vocals, especially on Slide Away & Be Here Now...''yeah yeah yeah"

When Liam sings RAAAAIIIIINNNN in the SMS video posted here, it really is a flashback to 1996.
Wish he would say the "Oh yeah" after singing 'Heaven' though!
He's only nailed the fucker!

Liam is ace, though the guitars are what're making it for me. It's better than any Noel-featured performance of this song ever was or could be.

His come back goes from strength to strength man. I just watched this again! He did justice to my favourite Oasis song.

He almost had to get a deviated septum fixed or get polyps removed because i dont see how you can go from having it sound like your nose is doing the singing to this. I know he is taking care of himself and fixed alot of issues and taking care of himself but i still dont know how its possible. See what happen is during the time he was away the rock n roll scientists worked on him and turned him into super Liam lol It helps he stopped using the damn IEM which hurt his sound and yeah i think he is also confident and feeling good. He said he would go on stage some nights scared and doubting himself and it would show in his performances. Im very proud of him.

I gotta say i have been since day one a hater on his band but the last few months the band has been doing really good to my ears. They still miss some stuff but they have been getting better and im happy with it. True perfection has to be imperfect

He sounds amazing in this. Glimpses of classic Liam in this. He could barely sing this in 2002—and that was transposed half a key down. How far he's come.

He can actually hold notes now rather than needing to step away from the mic at the end of every line. Love his voice now - massive improvement on anything since 2004.

I think he may have started to take his thyroid condition more seriously as well.
