Just found out Liam's got another gig on Friday at 'Meredith Music Festival', never even heard of the town - let alone the festival and I don't know a single other act on the list. Apparently it is near Ballarat and one and a half hours outside of Melbourne, not sure how his management team found that one tbh! You’ve never heard of Meredith Music Festival!? It’s been around for 29 years! Haha. Look at some previous line ups, surely you must have heard of some of the acts

Don't be sorry! just working on the tour so I have all the dates and venues. Exciting times to have him coming back! Awesome that sounds amazing! Just seen he’s going to Berry, that line up looks amazing. Do you happen to know (or would you be able to say) if he’s coming to Adelaide by any chance? I'll DM you!

And sorry excuse my ignorance but are you saying that as a guess sorta thing or do you have ITK info? Don't be sorry! just working on the tour so I have all the dates and venues. Exciting times to have him coming back!

It's headline shows more like mid-December, he will be back home a full week before Christmas so not sure why he's saying that haha What size venues ? Arenas or halls A mix depending on the city.. arenas, halls and outdoor by the looks of it. Not massive outdoor like the UK, but cool/scenic places that should have amazing atmosphere.

I still keep hearing "creamed the pillow" instead of clean the pool. What's worse? I thought it was "clean the poo up" for a few listens

Even if he's not getting a massive percentage from royalties, he would have made a shitload off touring. I work on tours in Australia and see what acts get paid who are nowhere near his level, and they have to split it 4/5 ways between the band... if Liam is getting paid more than them and keep most of (paying the band a wage?) then he would definitely be sitting pretty and keen to get back on the road again.

Knebworth obviously better, but remember they did two nights at 125,000 a night.. so in theory the budget for supports is going to be three times bigger than one night at ~40,000.
Also shows how big Liam is to sell out Finsbury in 5 minutes on his own name, when Queens of the Stone Age still have tickets left and a line up including Iggy Pop, Run The Jewels, The Hives, Miles Kane etc...

Think back to just over a year ago, who ever thought we'd hear Liam absolutely nail these classics again?
D'You Know What I Mean? Be Here Now Don't Look Back In Anger Some Might Say Rockin' Chair Listen Up Bring It On Down Whatever
Fucking stoked with the last 12 months or so!

Two things that spring to my mind when I hear these tracks (no expert of course):
1: Liam's voice makes ALL the difference. There's no denying Noel's voice suited some Oasis material (DLBIA, TIOBI) but when it comes to these tracks, without Liam they are just as generic as you said. He really was the x-factor in Oasis.
2: The production of Noel's solo material is just dull. We all know the production on Oasis albums in the 90's is technically shit, but at least it had some personality to it! There was so much distortion, bleed, fuzz and hiss going on that it gave it some personality, who else was putting out music that SOUNDED like that?
If you take away all the things that made them great and unique in the first place then you're just left with Noel's generic voice on top of boring production.

Andrew Wyatt posted a video of LG in the studio on his Instagram story, captioned 'Geeza'. Only goes for about 2 seconds but good to see the legend back at work!

Guys its 2018, not 1997. I can't believe people are bummed that Wolf Alice are playing and not OCS / RA etc. Wolf Alice and DMA's are way bigger names these days (who will only be getting even bigger), and this is clearly done to keep Liam contemporary for the years to come, not a nostalgia trip.
Liam is best to avoid having bands like Primal Scream, PIL, Johnny Marr etc supporting him and go with the young blood, he has a massive future ahead of playing huge arenas and stadiums. No one cares about Johnny Marr's new tunes and this move will keep the kids coming.

Do the Gallaghers have a market outside the UK? We had a huge turnout for sideshows for Liam in Aus a few weeks ago. Wall of Glass is played every now and then on the radio. I'm not sure how this translates to sales. WBTM is less visible overall. At one point right after Liam's TV press run, both versions of AYW, WTSMG and Time Flies were all in the Top 40 on iTunes. Being Australia, probably not a huge amount of sales but people definitely took notice.

I’ve thought that even tho Aussie populations are small so the fans are limited compared to many other countries. The fans are super dedicated that’s why the gigs are always amazing. I think they like coming down here too they always seem to enjoy the gigs Too right. Also I think the fact that we always have to wait for ages (bands usually come right at the end of their touring cycle) and only get one shot to see these acts every 3 or so years means we really make the most of it when it happens.

Is there any videos where it shows Liam handing it over ? He actually had to hand it to the security guard so it could get to the little boy without anyone stealing it. Once the house lights came on the little lad started shaking it like Liam and was getting a huge response on the way out

Liam still at #16 on Wednesday's update. He will increase sales this week! Amazing! So we're potentially looking around mid 240k by the end of the week? If he has another big ~20k week before Christmas AYW should be Platinum sometime in January? Debbie and the gang have played a blinder this whole year.

Amazing to see the whole world catch Liam fever at the same time! Only thing I noticed was some of those Aussie dates aren’t sold out.. Marion Bay and Fremantle legs of Falls are still available, also Melbourne and Sydney headline shows WERE sold out but they upgraded the venues from 2000 capacity venues to 5,500+..
Either way, I’m so excited to excited to see him in Melbourne and Sydney in January. My 5th and 6th times, 4 different cities in 3 different countries! MAD FER IT

Wasn't his US Tour put on by Goldenvoice? AKA the people who run Coachella / Panorama NYC? I think he'll definitely be on Coachella 2018, if they're happy to book Beady Eye and NGHFB he'll definitely be there.

I definitely think he was sick, no point potentially damaging his vocal cords when he's right on the cusp on playing some huge shows back home... it happens to everyone though. Adele cancelled two sold out Wembley Stadiums a few months ago, and off the top of my head - Metallica, Faith Hill, Frank Ocean, Beyonce, Foals and Korn have all cancelled shows in the past year to "rest their voice".
It isn't just Liam.

Maybe it was recorded before the Toronto show? The Tonight Show is recorded the same day it airs, so this was from today Not always... we had 4 guests on the day I went to Colbert this year. Only two were for that night (Matthew McConaughey / Vanessa Bayer) then Dave Chappelle's interview aired the following night and Liam's FWIW performance came weeks later. It's possible they filmed it before the Terminal 5 gig.

I'd say the Tonight Show would have been recorded before his gig at Terminal 5. Like when I saw him do the Colbert taping but it wasn't aired for around 3 weeks.

Looks like Andrew Wyatt was there again - according to his Instagram stories. I like him and what they've done together, so hopefully a few more tunes on LP2 will be great!
