I got my Japanese copy of HFB today. I've heard all the songs already, but still fun to pop in that CD for the first time. It was like Christmas 2 months early.

Is there any word on how this song will be released, besides digitally? I'm old-school. I like my CD's. I used to be old-old school with records and 8-tracks

According to CDJapan.co.jp, the bonus tracks on Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be The Good Rebel and A Simple Game of Genius. October 12th can't get here soon enough

Andy is wearing the helmet just in case Liam wants to throw a plum at him and go at him with a guitar. It's always important to wear protection.

I do like the song better now after hearing it a few times. However, it's still not great and I'm expecting much better from the CD when it comes out. Which still isnt' for another 2 months!!!!!!

I was talking with a friend of mine, Special Agent Fox Mulder, who had a theory on the comments made by Andy Bell. Mulder wondered who would benefit the most from Noel leaving Oasis. It was Andy Bell!!!! He moved up to lead guitar, got to have more of his songs on an album and always seemed to side with Liam on the sibling spats. It does make you wonder as the truth is out there. Or maybe that was in relation to aliens. I wanted to talk with Agent Scully about this, but the restraining order is still in effect.

It was likely mentioned already, but the Japanese release will feature 2 bonus tracks. I got an email from cdjapan.co.jp, whom I've bought CD's from in the past.
The release date is set for October 12th.
They still lack the details of the bonus songs.

I was first disappointed to find the supposed "snippet " from the video wasn't the actual song. That I really liked and hope that is on the CD. However, after listening to it a few more times, I am enjoying it more. Many have already said it sounds very similar to TIOBI and that was the first thing to enter my mind as well. Ditch the horns and go with a guitar solo. Just a personal feeling.
The song was good, but not great. I find myself enjoying the Everybody on the Run instrumental alot more.
I'm still looking forward to hearing the b-side to the single and the CD in the fall.

It won't be long now before Liam blames Noel for global warming, the tragedy in Japan and childhood obesity.

I certainly hope Noel properly lays down studio tracks for all these song, but the ones I would like to hear the most are, Bye Bye My Family, if that's what it's called, which is one of the acoustic soundcheck songs.
And I really want to hear a polished up version of that 18 minute jam they did during a soundcheck. You could trim it in half and it would still sound epic.
Just to throw i out there, what are the chances of Noel doing a double-CD? We know he's got enough material.

Just wondering if anyone had posted tabs and/or chords to a couple of the soundchecks songs Noel did back in 2009. I was looking for the acoustic song which some have called "Bye, Bye My Family." The other is the epic 18 minute song the band did in Hong Kong.
Thanks

Does anyone know the show that the live version of I Am The Walrus was performed which appeared on the Cigarettes and Alcohol single in 1994? It has been said that it was performed at the Cathouse in Glasgow in June of that year, not sure which of the two shows.
However, Wikipedia, which has been known to be wrong, claims it was taken from the soundcheck prior to their show at Gleneagles in February of 1994.
Thanks

Can someone tell me which show the live version of Supersonic was taken from for the Live Forever single in 1994?

Because Liam and/or Noel could easily drop an F-bomb is reason enough for the NFL never wanting them for the Super Bowl, even if the band was still together and big in the US.
The league wants old, safe acts. I think Tony Orlando might be available for the right price. Charo as well. What a show that would be.

It would seem that Zak and Noel got along a little bit better than the tabloids wanted us to believe
I liked Zak being with the band, but I do like Chris better.

don't forget, anybody can write anything they want on Wikipedia. And I know that Gem and Andy had mentioned during an interview that there were no plans for another single.
I hope it's true about the single or at least that they'll start playing the Turning during the big shows next month in the UK.

Didn't the band play 2 or 3 songs from Be Here Now a year prior to its release at Knebworth?
It would be nice, but I agree that it's unlikely.

I checked eil.com and cdjapan.co.jp and they had no listing for a Japanese single for I'm Outta Time. That doesn't mean it could be released sometime later, but there is no release right now.
Merry Christmas!!!!

I'm not a big fan of the remixes, but I'm curious. Is the remix of To Be Where There's Life on the I'm Outta Time single the same that was on the boxed set bonus CD?
Thanks
