Does anyone know the show that the live version of I Am The Walrus was performed which appeared on the Cigarettes and Alcohol single in 1994? It has been said that it was performed at the Cathouse in Glasgow in June of that year, not sure which of the two shows.
However, Wikipedia, which has been known to be wrong, claims it was taken from the soundcheck prior to their show at Gleneagles in February of 1994.
Thanks

From an interview with Noel, promoting the release of The Masterplan in October 1998:
"We went up to do the Gleneagles Sony Seminar. It's one of them shit things where the twats in suits get together and they roll on the new signings... There was no-one there, it was empty, so that song was actually recorded at a soundcheck in Gleneagles, right?
The crowd noise was taken from a Faces bootleg album! Because it would look shit if you put 'Live At Sony Seminar in Gleneagles'. We had a version of it from the Cathouse in Glasgow, which sounded quite similar but it was fucking rubbish, So we thought, 'fuck it, no-one'll know'. But I always meant to set the record straight one day. Sorry to anyone who bought it on the premise of actually being at that gig."
