All Oasis songs are great. Except The Nature of Reality. That's proper wank.

I've re-listened to Force of Nature today. God, that production is awful. The tune plods and plods...
By the way, after "you know it's buried beneath your feet", I was waiting for "So Honey please, don't let go" to appear. Noel did it again.

I slow it way down. I know that Oasis needed a rocker for the album, but this song works quite well when done more mellow. Kinda like the Lennon-esqe alt version of 'Waiting for The Rapture'. It makes the lyrics easier to understand and digest. It changes the focal point of the song compeltely. Much more enjoyable for me personally.

@kitjenson what you think about Johnny Marr's guitars on the album? iirc he played guitar solo on "(Probably) All in the Mind" slide guitar on Born on a Different Cloud" additional guitar on "Better Man". i think he's guitars are a bit disappointed.

To me HIABP is the worst Oasis song there is. It's like Gem came up with a parody Oasis song and they actually fucked used it. It's like Brick by brick from the Arctics. THIS IS WHAT B-SIDES ARE FOR YOU FUCKS. Banana skin feet? Fuck off. PAITM is ten times better than that piece of trash. I like Brick by Brick, IDST and Hung in a Bad Place fight me

He's done the same treatment DLBIA had, speeding it up a bit. I agree, though, "the demo" is much better.

Force of Nature is in a higher key/sped up because it appears in a film, and songs are often sped up in a film (partly to fit the timing of the scene sometimes).
Not much work done in the meantime - think it's a song that will date back to 1999 France sessions.

Sorry about the delayed response... I think others have gotten this one right. Not only is it a bad track to be on (PAITM), but his playing might as well be Guigs is so ambiguous and pointless. He should have played on The Cage though.

One question about The Hindu Times:
Which lyrics are correct?
a) 'Cos god gimme soul and all rock'n'roll (babe)
b) 'Cause God gimme soul in your rock'n'roll (babe)
I hear a lot of people singing both "versions"...

I always thought it was "Cos God gave me his soul in your rock 'n roll, babe" Is it not?
