For what it's worth Noel had a great crowd in Detroit a couple of years ago. You could barely hear him over the crowd during Supersonic. I know it's not the same as Beady Eye but it could be an indicator that a Detroit show would go over well.

I've done an alternate version of DOYS. I can put it up on soundcloud later today if there's any interest.

BE is also available to preorder on US iTunes (I'm probably not the first to notice this) so I'm sure they are related.

SOTSOG hands downs is the best album art (DOYS is second easy) and I've always enjoyed the cover for whatever.

I have a redone version of DOYS similar to idledraer's redone version of DBTT. Is there any interest in this? I'll post it if you all are interested but if not that's alright with me. I'd happily post the track listing too but I think it's cooler when you don't expect things.
Let me know.

It's great to see this song being acknowledged finally. Agreed that its fantastic of xfm to choose this song instead of the obvious DLBIA or something more mainstream. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'd pay good money for this whole gig audio or video.

If anyone has a link to download a recording of this I'd be forever thankful.

I love the production on IIHAG. And all of Sardy's work with Oasis/Noel.

Very nice Tom. If enough people do this kind of thing it has to create some attention.

Messaged. The more the merrier, and of course the harder to ignore. Agreed. It can't hurt to try right?

This is actually a very good idea. It takes no time at all to do and if they get enough feedback, it definitely could push a release. Many things have gotten released due to a groundswell of interest. Its unquestionable that it was recorded, and I could totally see them doing an iTunes only or similar something with enough feedback. You never know. Did you message the page directly, ramattack? Yep just a regular PM

That is a fantastic setlist. Massive thanks to everyone who brought us information and video of last night's gig.
I wrote TCT on Facebook expressing my desire for an official release of this show. I figure it won't make much of a difference but if they get enough feedback who knows what might happen. I figured it couldn't hurt.

Are people on this board really complaining about the setlist?

I will give any amount of money to TCT if they do a full broadcast/audio release (similar to The Dreams We Have As Children). Sweet baby Jesus that is a fucking setlist.

I wouldn't mind anything really as long as we get something unusual. For example, last tct gigs he played rockin chair and digsys dinner, hfb tour he surprised us with spaceman, angel child and idlers dream. Anything like that would be great. Perhaps she is love will finally get a chance live. I thought his acoustic sets from the hfb tour would have been a great opportunity for that song.

The past 2 years have been very good to me musically. All of my absolute favorite artists have produced something for me to enjoy.
Paul McCartney in Detroit summer 2011 was amazing. Almost 3 hours which is typical for Paul. Last encore was Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End. Truly an amazing gig.
Noel put out HFB, had a plethora of high quality boots, saw him in Royal Oak (another excellent gig and probably my favorite setlist apart from the final gig), then he put out International Magic + the demos. Lots of activity from Noel.
Lindsey Buckingham put out a new solo album last summer followed by a great live DVD and now more recently a new live album. He also has 3 brand new tracks featured on the new Judd Apatow film soundtrack (This is 40 or something like that)
The new Led Zeppelin release is also pretty excellent. Great show, great set, great production (same director as International Magic). Plus now there are talks of releasing box sets of each album. Hopefully these will resemble the deluxe editions of Paul McCartney's solo albums.
All is well...
