Unsure if this has been posted (feel free to delete, if so).
When asked about his next album in Q:
"I know I'll probably do it with Dave Sardy, I'll probably do some of it in America"
Uh-oh.

If The Dying of the Light gets butchered like If I Had a Gun, I won't be angry, just disappointed.

Don't mind Sardy producing, I just DO NOT want him mixing. Keep him chained away from the mixing board. Get someone like Stent.

He needs to move on from Sardy. The man butchered at least half the songs on HFB's.
I know it's been said on here numerous times already but I listened to 'If I Had a Gun' earlier today on great speakers and I swear to God it sounds like a very low quality mp3 and it was actually a full quality rip. It's just so muffled and bland. Great song but Sardy completely ruined it and Noel is cabbaged if he can't hear this.
Please move on Noel, please.

For fuck sake.
Show some balls and stop being so fucking lazy Noel. I still haven't forgiven that Yank bastard for what he did to Stop the Clocks, If I Had a Gun, Record Machine and the Cher moment in the first line of Everybodys on the Run.

Noel has said in the past if he finds someone he likes working with he will keep on doing just that. I think some "fans" need to move on. Don't like it, don't listen to it. Its that simple.

Yeah, he needs to get someone like Dave Sitek in to compensate for his poor songwriting abilities

Well i think the math is pretty simple, NGHFB was a very successfull record, therefore, do not change the formula. Although I agree songs like IIHAG, RM and STC lost a bit of spark, I really like the sounds of EOTR, WAL,AOTR, LTLSALOM or olders such as TIOBI and The Turning... I mean, i wouldnt mind a new album full of those.

He's done a really good job with some tracks like WAL,EOTR,TDOYAM,Alone on the rope,LTLSALOM and I really like the sound of DOYS,I have to say that

This is the time that I realized that I didn't like Sardy's work on NGHFB; before IIHAG came out, I showed the soundcheck version to a friend who's not a big Oasis fan, and he fell in love with it. When I showed him the official version, I saw his face go like this: He said it was really clunky and he didn't like the production. I started to notice it from there, and I wish he brought in someone new to work with him.

I love the final version of IIHAG, is it just me? Me too, one of the high moments of the album. Don't mind if Noel ask Sardy again for the next album.

The drums are too loud and monotonous on nearly every track Sardy's been involved with, and the guitars are always harsh and brittle. DOYS is a bit better in this regard, but DBTT and NGHFB are painful to listen to. I honestly prefer Noel's production on Heathen Chemistry to the production on the Sardy albums.
