'I Can See A Liar' is ace. The vocal effects on Liam's voice is brillant. Props to whoever decided to take Liam's "meee eeeeeeee-ah!" from the first chorus and loop it throughout the second verse. Inspired. I'm not so hot on the rest of the recording. But it's decent enough filler I suppose.

That's one of the best songs from SOTSOG.

Here goes..
I prefer Liam's to Noels songs post 2002
I really like the nature of reality I really like Put your money where your mouth is My favourite Gallagher album release after The Masterplan B-sides album is As You Were If Beady Eye released Back After the Break, Evil Eye and Off at the next Exit as singles they could have been much more successful
Noel 2017 songs are really good and i like scissors

God how many times have I watched the Letterman performance of this song....it gets the blood pressures up...it’s a stone cold beast of a song...lyrics are pony .....but Liam in flip flops and a Burberry trench - his voice is on point he owns it - I love this song

Nice to see some fondness for PYMWYMI, I never skip this track on SOTSOG, it has energy, the production is great, Liam is on fire and nice Noel's backing vocals at the end is a plus, ok lazy lyrics (it's about "ego" I guess) and it was Noel's attempt at a song without a chorus, but the delivery is what makes it a winner for me, if Hung In A Bad Place had this kind of delivery it would have been a much better track.

My Sister Lover and Pass Me Down the Wine are top 10 bsides. They're both very good, but on what top 10 do they fit? Just the tracks from The Masterplan alone leave no room for them.

AGN is absolute dross but I kinda like TNOR tbh I like the instrumental version of TNOR, it sounds terrific with only the instruments and without those silly lyrics, totally a catwalk song. chooooon

I guess it must be an unpopular opinion on this forum not to hate any tracks on Heathen Chemistry. A lot of "meh" for sure, but when people lose their shit over some tracks I just go: "it's not very good, but it's got SOMETHING". Yes, even (Probably) All In The Mind.

Being a new member here and a fairly new Oasis fan I'm not entirely sure about what's popular and not except for a few things, but I'll give this a shot:
I think She's electric is quite a boring song.
I think Little James is the second best song on Standing on the shoulder of giants.
Take me away is one of their best B-sides.
Did I do alright?

I think Slide Away doesn't come close to it's real potential, and part of that is the fact that Liam's vocals sound too dry.

Re: Little James
These lyrics:
I'm singing this song for you and your mum that's all 'cause it won't be long before everyone is gone
must have been fairly confronting to a 7 year old

It's not unpopular at all but I think Be Here Now is a complete mess and utter shit. That being said there I go: -SOTSOG is a truly great album, with a great sober concept and a really focused sound. -Beady Eye was alright, and Bring The Light is a good song. -Shakermaker is a terrible choice for a single -Lyla is kind of boring -Born On A Different Cloud is an absolute tune and Force Of Nature is a really great one too This one is going to send to the grave but... -I prefer Oasis Helter Skelter version than the original -WTSMG is a bit overrated, even though is my favourite Oasis album is not perfect, some really bad tracks is there (Hey Now,Roll With It) and others than are meh (Cast No Shadow) -Dig Out Your Soul didn't get the love it deserved. Probably my favourite Oasis album after MG
EDIT:
-I definitely prefer Noel's acoustic version of Slide Away and Listen Up -D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman is trash -Falling Down is one of the best Oasis songs ever -Gem Archer is a thousand times better than Bonehead. Just listen to the acoustic sessions ffs -I don't really give a fuck that Guigsy was out of the band, never heard a bass guitar on the first albums anyway (To be honest,my only problem with Gem and Andy is that they brought songs in the records and kinda ruined some of them. They are great in the band.) -Turn Up The Sun is probably the best song out of DBBT along Part Of The Queue and LTBL of course. -Soul Love is the best Beady Eye song

It's Good To Be Free is massively underrated and it's baffling to me why Noel made it a fecking B-side in the first place. Be Here Now, The Hindu Times and The Beat Goes On are underrated. Stay Young > IHITIK Stop Crying Your Heart Out is massively overrated. The Girl In the Dirty Shirt is garbage. Tom McCarroll mightn't be a good drummer in overall, but I prefer Definitely Maybe's drums. Headshrinker is criminally underrated.
Noel's best post-Oasis tune is In the Heat Of the Moment.
Paper Crown is a stripped down The Girl In the Dirty Shirt.
