Whatever is a pretty neat track, but massively overrated. It's also way too long.
Edit: "Massively" is probably a bit too harsh. After all I'd give it a solid 7/10.

'I Can See A Liar' is ace. The vocal effects on Liam's voice is brillant. God how many times have I watched the Letterman performance of this song....it gets the blood pressures up...it’s a stone cold beast of a song...lyrics are pony .....but Liam in flip flops and a Burberry trench - his voice is on point he owns it - I love this song Ah man I love that performance. |

I think Slide Away doesn't come close to it's real potential, and part of that is the fact that Liam's vocals sound too dry. I do Slide Away isn't THAT good as most Oasis fans think. That's my unpopular opinion. |

Little By Little is a great pop song.
Let There Be Love is in my top 3 Oasis songs.
Cast No Shadow (UNKLE) version is better than the original.
Let's All Make Believe is good but not great.
I really like High Horse Lady and The Nature Of Reality is not bad.
The Turning is brilliant but it's not as good as the song it ripped off - Devil Woman by Cliff Richard.
Keep The Dream Alive is good.
The Hindu Times (Demo) is not as good as the album version.
She's Electric is one the best pop songs Noel ever wrote and it's the best sounding song (sonically) on Morning Glory.

The Masterplan (song) sounds very derivative and cheesy. I think it's shit and it's a good thing it wasn't on Morning Glory. I wouldn't go that far, but I think there's some truth to what you say. I've always wondered why I don't love it like everybody else, I've tried many times to give it yet another chance, but it just won't click with me. I guess much of it comes down to the "we're all a part of the masterplan" line, which has always has been the biggest obstacle to get around in my pursuit of trying to like it  The verses are nice, there are some good lyrics for sure, but in the end it all falls apart because of ONE line. It's intresting how the brain works sometimes. Anyway, kudos to you for sharing this opinion, which might get you banned for blasphemy ^^ |

I wasn't too keen on it either, until the movie "Supersonic" where to me it was a perfect background to the final words, moody and a bit sad, but then, the chorus, upbeat and celebratory again. Made me all kinds of emotional and since then I appreciate the song. |

Massively overrated in some ways for me. I've never understood the love for the song. It's ok but not that brilliant. The fact Noel always says it's his best lyrics as always drove me mad when I consider some from other songs from other album eras (Standing era espically) |
