HFB songs need Liam's vocals and BE songs need Noel's songwriting. the only HFB song that could possibly be made better by a Liam vocal is 'Lock All The Doors'. And maybe 'Record Machine'. Liam would vastly improve - Everybody's on the run - Dream on - Record Machine - Wrong Beach - Stop the clocks - Simple game of genius - Do the damage - Lock all the doors - The right stuff - The Mexican - You know we can't go back |

I respectfully disagree. I love Liam voice, but most of these songs are not improved with a modern Liam vocal. If Noel wrote / remembered these songs with Liam in mind they would have changed. I don't know if they would sound better (exception for Record Machine and Lock All The Doors ) but they would have definitely sound different. If Noel wrote The Meaning Of Soul it would have sounded like You Know We Can't Go Back. |

- DOYS is really cool, like Liam's voice on here (better than from DBTT times except Lyla), AGN and TNOR aren't shite at all, it keeps album in this way
- Stranded On The Wrong Beach is the best NGHFB song, Ballad Of The Mighty I is best CY song
- NG's rethink of DYKWIM is better than original
- I Am The Walrus b-side is OK
- Fade In-Out is the best tune from BHN times, Going Nowhere is awful
- Songbird is best in HC
- CYSIN (ICSIN!!!) is the third best instrumental after SS and FITB
- Bring The Light is fookin' rock, enjoyed times when I went in the street with high volume BTL and everybody was moving to me
- Man Of Misery is great
- Noel is potato

ICSAL is good
IOT is a masterpiece and better than most of CY
TSOTL>Lyla
Falling Down, WDIAGW?, POTQ, Little By Little are better Noel songs than TIOBI.

Why does (Probably) All In The Mind so much hate? Mostly because it is the worst use of Johnny Marr ever. And it's not a great song to start with. It does come off nicely on the acoustic though. |

Why does (Probably) All In The Mind so much hate? Because it sounds like a less than mediocre Gem Archer song but oddly enough it was written by the same man who gave us Live Forever and Don't Look Back in Anger. And yeah, Johnny Marr was totally wasted on it. |

Tbh, both Noel and Liam sound like they were either a) Drunk, b) Half-assing it, or c) Taking the piss out of something and doing a bad job at it because it sounds like they put little to no effort into the vocal delivery. |

I like the way If I Had a Gun... came out.
It serves the song's meaning well in that it expresses the emotions of what it feels like to love someone but not be able to put it into motion and show it.
