Has anyone bought the digital version with Liam’s voice notes? Is it worth getting? Wondering how much commentary there is and how it adds to the Knebworth documentary.

I think we will get most / all Oasis songs when this comes out. Here’s why...
If Liam can help Noel get royalties, Noel doesn’t mind. I seem to recall Noel talking about it in a jokey / gloating way. When Liam sings Oasis songs at his gigs, he promotes Oasis streams and maybe some physical Oasis sales. Presumably this gig will be the same, even if broadcasted. Snippets of songs in a Liam’s movie may have been considered differently by Noel and his management. Would be interested if anyone here knows more about how royalties work and can comment.
Weirdly we have had some songs cut from previous Liam gig performances before, like Rockin’ Chair (was that at Bethnal green, can’t remember). Don’t know why.

At the time The Death Of You and Me was released I remember him tweeting "shitbag" and "Dido". (Just googled it to refresh my memory and found the story). www.nme.com/news/music/oasis-165-1278887I'm all for reconciliation between the brothers, can't see any chance of Oasis reforming though.

I’m excited to discover the track list / discover how many tracks are on it. Have pre-ordered the deluxe version.
Just read that a Japanese deluxe version will be coming out. Remember Beady Eye BE? Only the Japanese version had Evil Eye and Girls In Uniform so assume that Japanese WMWN will have one or two exclusive tracks.

It’s Gallagher vs Gallagher World War III. Noel releases Riverman, Liam retaliates with The River. Noel fires back with Shockwaveman.

On another note....
On Wikipedia you can see the frequency of single releases from the first solo album. That means the second single is in about 5 weeks from now at longest. May be as soon as mid July.
from As You Were "Wall of Glass" Released: 1 June 2017 "Chinatown" Released: 30 June 2017 "For What It's Worth" Released: 10 August 2017 "Greedy Soul" Released: 27 September 2017 "Come Back to Me" Released: 23 November 2017 "Paper Crown" Released: 11 May 2018 "I've All I Need" Released: 25 May 2018

Thanks guys, always in my 20's when I would hear my parents say "the music was better in our day" I hoped that I wouldn't repeat that pattern My last great discovery was Tame Impala but that was years ago. Interesting to hear that the support acts are not as good as Knebworth. That makes me feel better! Why would that make you feel better? It's not about today's music vs old music. There were bigger names at Knebworth. Liam is not 1996 Oasis. Of course that great bands from 90s are better than average from 2010s. Just like the great bands from 2010s are better than average from 90s. It would make me feel better, because I can't make the gig, and I don't know the bands, and wondered if I am missing out. Plus I want to know if it's just my age or if the music really was better in the 90's

We know that the Gallaghers loved most of Knebworth's support acts. I know that Liam has said that the DMA's latest album is "biblical", but would he like the other supports? I had a brief listen to Sherlocks and I can't imagine him being a fan. It's gentle "polite" rock! He's said multiple times that so called rock bands need to turn up the guitar amps.I also have heard Liam say at interview that he barely listens to any modern bands.

Seems to me that the Finsbury park event on Friday June 29th is the most significant all day Gallagher focused event since Knebworth. I lived in London in 1996, and was there on the first night at Knebworth in 1996, at 23 years old. I remember being a fan of every support act too on that night and most of the second night (still have barely listened to Dreadzone).
Support Act on Day 1 - Prodigy, Manic Street Preachers, Ocean Colour Scene, The Chemical Brothers and The Bootleg Beatles. Support on Day 2 - The Charlatans, Manic Street Preachers, Kula Shaker, Cast and Dreadzone
To me the 1996 support acts were amazing, and I knew all their hits and had their albums before the gig! Now I am a 45 year old man living in Dallas, Texas and can't fly to London easily, so will just have to hear the audio recording of the gig. And I don't know much about these support acts.
Support at Finsbury - Wolf Alice, Loyle Carner, DMA's, The Sherlocks, Dream Wife, Twisted Wheel, BELAKO, Easy Life, Trampolene, Hey Charlie
I have the DMA's stuff and like them, but have barely listened and don't know the other acts.
So is there anyone going to Finsbury who can give me their opinion of the support acts? I'd be especially interested in anyone's opinion who was at Knebworth too! I might buy some of the albums of the support acts too.

If anyone can post Noel's Noel for 2014, 2015 and 2016 that would be greatly appreciated! I think I have them somewhere but can't find 2015.

Thanks Can't find a download link on the 6 Music site. BBC audio streams aren't permanent and may be removed one day so would like to have an mp3 offline copy.

Sorry not sure if this is the right part of the board to request this.
Just read that this year's show with Noel and Steve is his 3rd Xmas show.
Can anyone please share links so that I can grab mp3's of all 3 shows?

I don't see how could this be the full interview. It cuts off so suddenly at the end. Vaughn must have said goodbye and thanks to Liam.

Slightly off-topic question.....how can I do this kind of thing for the forum? I'd like to know how to download the audio from BBC player or other flash audio as an MP3. Is there an easy way?

Any chance we USA peeps can see what is on this playlist? I'm using my iPad and it won't allow me to click the link for the UK iTunes store.
Can one of you good people copy and paste a list of the tunes please?
