stopcryingyourheartoutnews.blogspot.it/2017/10/liam-gallagher-that-fucking-band-meant.htmlLiam Gallagher spoken about his real feelings on the Oasis split in an emotional new interview. Speaking to NME Gold, Gallagher admitted he still feels upset about the split. “That fucking band meant everything to me. Everything. It’s in my veins. It’s not about the money,” Gallagher said. He continued. “I’m still deeply fucking disturbed and still deeply grieving for that band.” H admits that he still hadn’t moved on from the band split in 2009. “I know it’s been nine years or however long it is, and I know people go, ‘Yeah, but get over it.’ But no. I won’t fucking get over it. Maybe I need to go and see someone about it. The Ready Brek glow was there, and now it’s not. It was like part of my fucking system and soul was ripped and fucking just fucked off to the side.” NME Gold is in stores now.

Had a flick through and it’s interesting seeing his slightly more detailed than usual opinion on all the old classic bands, even Weller, ha. But couldn’t bring myself to buy it for £8 for a magazine!

STOPCRYINGYOURHEARTOUT.COM Latest Oasis, Liam And Noel Gallagher News ▼ 28 October 2017 Liam Gallagher On Oasis, Bonehead Driving The Van, Drinking, Weed, Security Guards And More
Liam Gallagher has spoken about the rise of Oasis from the times Bonehead drove the Oasis tour van, sharing hotel rooms with band members to playing arenas and stadiums.
He told NME Gold "I cant remember anything about journalists being on the early tours. But those were the fucking days, man: when you don't really know if anyone gives a fuck or not. Bonehead driving the van, sharing rooms and shit, lots of drinking, lots of weed smoking, not so much of the other at that point. Just never-ending nights, d'you know what I mean? Just feeling invincible never really worrying about singing or any of that. I don't think I ever warmed up once. I'd just be sat backstage stoned and someone goes, 'Right you're on', and that would be it. Not that professional to be fair, which was good at that time. It's when you go into arenas that you start thinking, 'Fucking Hell. I've got to hold it down a bit.' it's a bit of an occasion then, when it's not just in a pub, and it seems like a lot of people have dressed up for it or whatever. It's like 'Fuck I better put this spliff out.' In them early days, didn't have any security guards either so it was just us lot in a van and the road crew."
He added "I remember getting the first security guard and thinking 'Fuck this. What's this all about?' I remember he came on because Noel got a whack at some gig, and then all of a sudden there they are. But he's stood by my side! I'm like 'Here y'are mate it wasn't me who got the dig! Go stand with him.' So then I had this big daft vagina who was always hanging about with me. Our kid would have a bit of freedom running off down the road, and I'd be stuck with the big idiot, just wherever I went. I'd be going 'I'm just to the shop', and he'd go 'I've been told I've got to come with you'. So that pissed me off a bit. I found that adjustment a bit weird. We'd have a little aftershow, and then just bowl out and have a laugh with the fans and all that. But when it got to arenas, I just stayed backstage because it got a bit intense. It was like everyone was in your face and it got a bit rabid. Early days, you could kind of sit about and have a beer with all the fans, and it was chilled. Then when it went massive, everyone was just on soon as you came offstage. I kind of stopped doing that stuff."

Speaking in an interview as editor as the first ever edition of NME Gold, Liam said that while he was “fucking glad he did it”, and that he and Martin were “cool” now.
“That was all right, man,” said Gallagher. “We were booked to do a gig in Germany. We were supposed to be on about seven. [Partner and manager] Debbie was going ‘you’ll never guess who keeps fucking emailing me’. I’m like, ‘who? It’s not fucking Noel is it? Tell him to fuck off’. ‘No, fucking Chris Martin’. I’m like ‘what the fuck does he want?’ ‘I dunno what he wants, he just wants to have a word with you’. I’m like ‘does he want a fucking scrap? I’m not in the fucking mood right now, man’.”
Gallagher continued: “Anyway, so then we get on Skype, and he says ‘the Manchester thing, are you up for doing it?’ I think he wanted to do like, ‘Imagine’, and I’m like ‘look, I’m not doing ‘Imagine’, it ain’t happening’. He went ‘oh go on, it’ll be great’. I was like ‘I’m sure it fucking will be great. I’m fucking great and you’re fucking great, but it ain’t happening’. So he goes, ‘oh, would you do an Oasis tune?’ and I said ‘yeah, of course, man’. So then it was ‘Live Forever’.”
Speaking of what happened after the show, Gallagher told NME: “I didn’t hang around the get my back patted, we were out of there. It was like, look, it was good to do. And Chris? I went, ‘listen, I’m sorry about all that shit, that I keep fucking slagging you off. You know I don’t fucking mean it’. He’s going ‘nah, nah, no worries, we love it mate, carry on!’
“He was cool. But I’ve not heard fucking back from him since. He’s fucked me right off now.”

I'm so glad they did Live Forever and not Imagine, Live Forever was perfect for that occasion.

Tried buying this yesterday (8 quid for a magazine - my head's probably in urgent need of a wobble) but couldn't find it in either Morrisons or Sainsburys. Is it a decent read or not worth the mental trauma of a visit to Asda or WH Smith?
