Everytime I hear Come Together I think of Liam crowd-surfing.

I know there's one night in L.A. that's sold out, but I would expect the other big cities to be sold out by now. He's doing two shows in Ohio and I haven't heard or seen anything.

I can understand someone who is a songwriter getting frustrated by someone who gets similar results or better results by doing half the work. However, if someone purely classifies themselves as a singer, I don't understand how someone can get upset. With Jake Bugg the assumption is there that he is curating all his own work, and when you find out he hasn't it's disappointing. It's hard to say which is better because it's a matter of opinion, if someone heard Run The World by Beyonce (which has 6 writers) and gets more out of the song then when they hear Jolene, Rehab, or Wonderwall the song that makes a person feel more is better even if the song has no real substance to it. That's just how I view it anyway.

Every time I go onto this forum in my iPhone Safari browser I get scam Amazon pop ups redirect me to another page. I have to then exit the browser and go back to the forum again. Is anybody else having this issue? I don't get Amazon, but I get a pop up telling me that I've won some sort of prize.

This picture: I'm sure I've seen a picture of young Liam with the exactly same smile. Like, I've read that Noel looks like his father and Liam likes his mum, but this is the only time I've noticed the similarity. I tried to google the picture of Liam but I didn't find it... I think I saw it in Paul's book but I don't own it, think Liam was 10-13 when it was taken. The picture in the top right is the one I thought of:

Rebel Wilson is on Nick Grimshaws show 12/20, so I don't know if he's talking about his radio show.

I think if it was about Noel he would use "rkid" not team NG. He's just winding people up, and for something like this that so many people care so much about is a bit shitty.

I love reading people's reviews for this tour. I think he's surprised a lot of people and that's so nice to see! I'm actually quite proud that he hasnt canceled or walked off early. I'm excited for all the people going to his show tomorrow, it should be special. I hope Bonehead does at least one song with him.

I would like to think so, but I doubt it; he'll probably have a few more peaks but I would guess that it would slowly trail off. Props to Liam though he has really drawn in the younger crowd, especially since a lot of Grime artists have "endorsed" him. He's on their radar, and even if they don't really like his music they'll go to his concerts because of how much of a party they are. It helps that he's really active on Twitter, so even if he isn't really doing anything he's still in your face. People like Liam and Noel are both so outspoken that they naturally create conversation even if they aren't making music. Like someone else said, Liam's on a major label and they'd do whatever they can to make sure he makes them money.

3 gigs and it's gone? That doesn't bode well. He's got a 2 day rest though so that should be good for him, otherwise there's going to be quite a few upset people.

It is a shitty photo, but I can't tell you the exact brand they look like they could be Oliver Peoples, Gucci, or Burberry. The brand Moscot also do similar styles as well as Saint Laurent; however Saint Laurent have heftier/thicker frames.

A nice little review from his show in Plymouth.
Liam Gallagher in Plymouth: The ex-Oasis frontman has still got it Liam Gallagher turned back the clock 20 years to deliver a truly mesmerising show at Plymouth Pavilions
Flawless, fresh, professional, electric.
Liam Gallagher has undoubtedly always been the coolest man in rock - there aren't many others who can get away with rocking a parka indoors and still look swag - but the ex-Oasis frontman hasn't always been known for soaring vocals and good manners on stage.
Yet Gallagher has undergone a remarkable transformation - and last night at Plymouth Pavilions the leader of the 'parka monkeys' movement (as his brother Noel described his cult fan base) turned back the clock 20 years with a truly outstanding performance proving why he's still got it.
Parka, tick. Trendy jeans, tick. Army-style haircut. Tick. Liam blew the house down from the word go with an outstanding rendition of Oasis hit Rock 'n' Roll Star, followed by the mighty (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Out came the smart phones, beer (and whatever else) everywhere, the crowd were wild.
Gobby Gallagher may be embracing sobriety, but he's still got plenty of passion and aggression - it didn't take him long to complain to the mystery engineer on the side (wouldn't we all love to know who he really is) about the sound levels.
Next it was a couple of his own solo tracks - the Wonderwall star has previously admitted he's had a little help penning the songs for his new record, As You Were - but they're strong and stand up against the Oasis catalogue.
Greedy Soul is punchy, in your face, modern day Sex Pistols stuff.
He admits himself it's his favourite to perform live, and it shows - his voice crisp, snarly, raspy and booming - his fans were truly mesmerised. Next up was Wall of Glass - essentially a pop song injected with a drop of punk and grunge for good measure.
This could easily have been a gig from the 90s - Liam simply hasn't sounded this good since 1996/1997 - were it not for the sheer number of smart phones illuminating the arena instead of cigarette lighters.
And it wouldn't have been a Plymouth gig without the occasional 'Argyle' chant.
Liam likes to throw in a bit of banter between songs, but sadly a mix of his thick Mancunian accent and a rather muddy sound system meant it was difficult to understand his chat with the Plymouth crowd, which later caused a bit of a stir on social media.
But the obligatory 'Liam' football stadium-style shouts from the followers gave you goosebumps, got you pumped and made you demand more.
Liam continued to bring his A game, belting out a beautiful rendition of Paper Crown.
His confidence never wavered as he brought back to life Rockin' Chair - a remarkable tune penned by Noel G which Liam, up until this year, hadn't sang live since 1995. And he NAILED it.
The stand out performances of the night were Oasis tracks Some Might Say and Slide Away.
Big vocals which Liam delivered with ease without sounding flat, commanding the high notes.
He cruised through the rocking Be Here Now before paying tribute to the crowd and leaving the stage, leaving fans begging for more.
Back he came for the encore, bursting out Cigarettes and Alcohol before delivering a truly haunting version of Live Forever - with a chilling cello accompaniment - which rightly or wrongly has become an anthem of defiance in the wake of the Manchester and London terror atrocities.
And right before the hour and a half mark - Liam's previously publicly declared on Twitter that the Beatles never played longer than that, so why should he? - he treated everyone to world-wide anthem Wonderwall. Complete with the woman and her cello.
Liam's achieved what many others of his era have tried to do and failed - remain relevant and be inspired by a new generation of fans.
Pavilions was swarmed by an incredible mix of followers old and new, dressed to impress trying to look like their idol.
Liam and the people around him (his girlfriend and her twin sister are his managers) know his selling point, and this time around he truly means business.
He's looking after himself, reining back on the decadence and giving it his all.
Long may Liam's reign on top continue. As You Were.

It looks like it could be a Tommy Hilfiger color block Cagoule, but I'm sure nautica and Reebok made similar ones. Since there's no obvious branding though I'd say he's probably wearing an M&S one or maybe Penfield?

I would like to see Noel's record collection, I would bet he'd have some pretty cool ones. His tastes seem to be quite varied, I remember reading in Tony's book that he loved ABBA more than the Smith's.

Does he forget he has another brother? Or has Paul done something wrong as well?
