So we know what happen with the finsbury Park show so will this one sell out just as fast? 50,000 sears is a lot of butts to put in the seats. This may sounds 100% crazy but is liam solo getting to Oasis size popularity right now? I only thought a Gallagher could sell out two huge stadium shows as Oasis not as Noel or Liam. I also only think one Gallagher could sell them out. I wish he was this big in the states bc I wanna be in that madness and have that many fans thinking like me around me. Ugh I gotta get to a show in the UK. If I ever got the chance what’s the best bigger venue should I goto?

Think Manchester is 10k bigger than Finsbury. Been to gigs at Finsbury and they’ve been good. Never been to the cricket place so can’t speak for that but being Manchester it might have the edge. Either will be good though

I have been to quite some Oasis gigs, however, in the UK only to one, in 2009, at the Wembley. I promised myself and my sis (who is also a big fan), we will be there for the reunion concert. 8 years after it is obvious that this won’t happen in this life, so a Liam gig in Manchester will step in But now I am starting to become uncertain, some saying it is a dreadful venue, most people go to Finsbury, not many are enthusiastic, but still it is Manchester...The trip would cost a fortune, so, what do you recon, would it be worth it or another summer UK gig would be better?

It’s not my favourite of venues, sound is never great in there. That said, I am still gonna try for tickets, because there is something special about hometown shows!

I'll be trying for tickets. Never been there before but after 15 ciders etc i dont think i'll care that much about the venue !
Question is seats or standing. Used to do standing all the time as the atmospheres better but trying to dodge pints of warm piss isnt that cool any more. Might go for lazy seats !
Should be an amazing atmosphere, still cant believe how well Liam has done. Brilliant

I think you should totally go for it! who cares if some people say they'll only go to Finsbury or don't care for Old Trafford! I think these kinds of gigs are priceless and will stay with you forever - definitely precious memories to treasure for the rest of your life. The day will come where Liam won't tour anymore, so better take your chance now !

I think it was pretty obvious he'd be announcing a decent sized Manchester gig for next Summer.
Not sure if I'm going to this. Hoping he headlines Kendal Calling and also aware of another large-ish gig he's supposed to be doing elsewhere in the North West in August.

Seems sacrilege for Lîam to be playing at the home of Manchester United, weird.
Thanks.

Seems sacrilege for Lîam to be playing at the home of Manchester United, weird. Thanks. The Stone Roses played at the home of Manchester City last year and they're huge United supporters. Liam isn't playing at Old Trafford, but the Lancashire County Cricket Club Ground.
