I'm guessing this will be released so we can have a taster of the essence of the album itself. If this is indeed an instrumental this will show us the album's direction!

Can't wait to read about how everyone hates it. I hate it already for causing confusion over what exactly is an "instrumental" track. For me its can't have lyrics and vocals. Samples from movies/tv is one thing, actual singing is another thing all together. Maybe its like Win Butler and Thom Yorke say, the first review has all the power and other publications just copy and repeat. So in this case the first reviewer called it an instrumental by mistake but now its just been repeated a half dozen times elsewhere that it has no lyrics or vocals. WTF!

Well, Primal Scream's Loaded has dialogue samples from the movie The Wild Angels, vocals samples from The Emotions' I Don't Want to Lose Your Love, and Bobby Gillespie singing a few lines, yet people still call it an instrumental. Is it really one though? I don't know!

We haven't heard Fort Knox containing multiple samples like that.

Kind of like Can Y'See It Now.

Hopefully Noel’s management will use this as a teaser to whet the appetite for the rest of the album and follow it up within a week with “It’s a beautiful world” to keep the momentum going.
One thing is for sure, Noel needs something vibrant and new to counteract all the negative reception he’s had on HM from casual fans on social media and in the pub etc, the good thing is that when a starting point is that of a negative - the polarisation to the other side is much much stronger, so if it’s a banger of a tune then people will be all over it like a cheap parka...

If this is true, oh my lord! The song I'm most looking forward to hearing from the teaser.

I will say that this is a welcomed changed from Noel. That idea of us getting 3 songs within 2 months of the album is fantastic.

Hopefully sets the tone and proper hype for the album cycle. Very much looking forward to this dance/rock track. Hopefully it hasn’t a proper b side as well but I’m expecting a remix.
