One cool thing about the song is that the intro is 7/8 against 4/4. Noel's going prog!

It’s 1234 am in Australia and Fort Knox is on our Spotify!!! Its 4x Noel singing “gotta get yourself together” away from being an instrumental and wouldn’t be out of place on Kasabians West Pauper album. He says that line 8 times in the trailer Clip. Yeah, he says it 8 times, the clip from the trailer is edited a bit though they don't come in until 2/3rds of the way through it

Thats an interesting hybrid song. Lots of action going on. It has the FITB sample heavy approach. I'd lean that it was an instrumental track. We haven't heard Fort Knox containing multiple samples like that. What would you call Revolution 9? A musical collage.

Was really looking forward to this from the preview. I'm afraid that's poor. Possibly even worse than Holy Mountain. Disappointing.

Love the female vocals in the middle.
It'll take a bit to get used to Noel not popping on right after the beginning drum part. Got so used to that from the trailer. I'm sure it'll be fine in time but its jarring now since it's expected, for me at least.

I like it. But that alarm bell is making my head hurt.

Like the vibe on this one. Nothing really remarkably or memorable but i think it works perfectly as an opener. it kinda sounds very similar to all AA stuff with Noel (Shoot a hole into the sun)
Edit: YEs...this ringbell annoys me too! it could be shorter!

Gonna spend some time with it before offering an opinion.

Gonna spend some time with it before offering an opinion. Truly revolutionary in this day and age. (Not sarcasm, to be clear)

On first listen I enjoyed it greatly, and I reckon it'll continue to grow.
But making this track one of the first that the public hears from his new album? Even though its not a single, the common people will treat it as one, and the common people will be in uproar because of it being mostly instrumental.
This ain't good marketing I don't think..

It's brilliant.
Those drums are huge, it sounds incredibly epic and fucking menacing. Love it.

It's like Bonobo playing the lovechild of 'Fuckin' in the Bushes' and 'Let the Lord Shine a Light on Me'.

I can't wait to listen to a proper Flac version of this. There are a lot of layers that get a bit muddy on Spotify.

Really good, could be a bit shorter but a great opener. Just can't imagine this being followed by Holy Mountain, lol.

Way better than HM which was a strong 2/10 to me. Great opener, great gig opener surely, but absolute shit single. I dont think noel could release a worst single, don't get me wrong i kinda like it but is this really what you want people to hear before the album is released???
