I suppose this won't be released until friday so it has a chance to chart better than Holy Mountain, right?

If this one sounds like Livin' La Vida Loca, Twitter will explode. #ParkaMonkeysStrikeBack

I got a good feeling about this one. Just think on the opener tracks of every album. Noel isn't good at choosing lead singles. But opener tracks? Hello,DYKWIM,Fucking In The Bushes,Turn Up The Sun (I know is an Andy Bell song, but I'm guessing that Noel choose the tracklist),Bag It Up,Everybodys on the run,Riverman... And we already heard a minute of the song, and I don't know people but to me sounded really good. Tomorrow I will listen to Fort Knox and then Holy Mountain and I'll have a taste about the first minutes of the album. Come on lads, its gonna be great!

I don't mind instrumental's but the only issue I have with them is that I really have to be in the mood to listen to them. If a lot of Noel's album is like that I don't know how often I could/would listen to it. I hope there are some tracks on the album that I could listen to anytime, instead of complete psychedelic/cosmic pop tracks. I have no doubt that there'll be songs that are really dynamic and interesting with more alarms and whistles and what not, but they never last long on any playlist I've ever had; I usually have to get rid of them after a month.

Is this dj going to annoy me as much as the ones I've painfully listened to for Liam?

Strange idea again, using an experimental instrumental where he repeats the same lyrics 86 times as second single... we'll see. Everything sounds like Beatiful world will be the decisive moment in album's promo.

Well, Primal Scream's Loaded has dialogue samples from the movie The Wild Angels, vocals samples from The Emotions' I Don't Want to Lose Your Love, and Bobby Gillespie singing a few lines, yet people still call it an instrumental. Is it really one though? I don't know! Thats an interesting hybrid song. Lots of action going on. It has the FITB sample heavy approach. I'd lean that it was an instrumental track. We haven't heard Fort Knox containing multiple samples like that. What would you call Revolution 9?

This song better be fucking good. Cause I just woke up from a nap where I dreamed that this song started from nothing but an alarm clock and jet plane noises, with a sexy bass groove sliding in along with the danciest drums ever, with dialogue samples from Goldfinger, slowly building to an epic climax of "YOU GOTTA GET YOURSELF TOGETHER" accompanied with a Hendrix guitar solo. All in the space of four minutes. Like Fuckin' in the Bushes had a kid with Smack My Bitch Up. Yeah, I spend way too much time on this forum.

Is this dj going to annoy me as much as the ones I've painfully listened to for Liam? I think Gordon Smart is worse than Chris Moyles, I can never listen to his shows. What both Liam and Noel should do is X-Posure with John Kennedy, he does long track by track album interviews, classic albums and new ones, and a quite recent and a good one was about Urban Hymns.

Can't believe Noel has only been on Ol' Russ' show once since it came back. Get Rusty to phone him up for twenty minutes a week like in the old days, free and easy exposure.

Everything sounds like Beatiful world will be the decisive moment in album's promo. Think this is less of a single and more of a one-off 'getting the track out there' to give a feel of the album. I may actually not listen though. I want to be surprised by the album and half of that means listening to the opening song for the first time. I always imagine what it must've been like to hear 'Rock N Roll Star' for the first time, or 'Hello' when you first played DM or MG. Must've been mega. Same for 'EOTR' and 'Riverman' on Noel's records. I'd never heard them and it's great to get dealt with something fresh right out of the block.

What would you call Revolution 9? A sound collage That's what we Beatles fans call it as well, but I was curious to the answers.
