Since we are all from different parts of the world is FWIW charting on iTunes around the world? In the 🇺🇸 I looked and didn't see it in the singles chart. I have a feeling this will be a slow burn song where people hear it then tell a friend then they get it and do the same and so on rather then selling a lot all at once

Eh, right now should be it's peak. I was hoping for a little bit higher. A video premiere might help it.

and what was the point of saying that in a thread about the charts other then to just be negative for no reason?

Eh, right now should be it's peak. I was hoping for a little bit higher. A video premiere might help it. lets hope it's a slow burn song and once people know they will keep buying it. You may not get a #1 but you will sell a lot of copy's. I'm telling you right now the album will be a number 1 because as soon as the album drops everyone who bought tickets for his tour will be counted since you get the album with your ticket so that's a lot of sales right there and then all the people that will buy it who arnt going will put up numbers. These days if you sell 100,000 copy's you can have a number 1. It will prob have at least 20,000 in ticket sales alone don't you think?

This is a little random but it fits this thread. I was reading about record companies how they prompt albums. The one thing amazed me they do. If they have a artist they wanna push they go out And will buy 100,000 or more albums themself so they chart in the top 5 or #1. That's crazy they can do that and kinda said. The article said the reason is people think a album is better if it's number one even if they norm wouldn't like it as much. A record company shouldn't be able to buy their own music to rig the charts

It's been bobbing around the top of iTunes best-selling pre-orders for aaaaages now. Those sales kick in 1st week. People are loving what they're hearing. I think it'll top the UK charts as well.

It's going to be heading into release week with nearly 6 months worth of preorders. He's also on a super light week in terms of releases. The only issue he might have is the fact that Miley Cyrus and Wolf Alice are both releasing albums the week prior and they might have enough residual sales in the second week to hold on to #1. But neither have ever been big sellers in the UK. Both of their last albums only went Gold in the UK. It'd be highly disappointing if he didn't go #1, honestly. What I would be more worried about would be after the first week. Noel didn't start playing arenas because he got a #1 album. He did it because he got a #1 album and it stayed in the charts for over a year. If Liam wants to get to that level then he'll need a little more than a #1 album. He'll need one that stays in the charts for about two months plus.

That kind of noise could wreck Liam's victory party. Clear path right now but those random release can create chaos. If Taylor Swift dumps an album that week he's done for. Or Eminem. My point is other artists are looking at Liam's week and noticing no big time albums come out that week.

As of the moment, Liam's album is the only major one that's being released that month. So I think those artists are pretty open to release any week. Plus, I think Warner Brothers may have some more inside knowledge than what's been announced, in terms of when albums will be released. So I think they've decided on the album date will all the information available.

It was rather shocking, at least I thought so at the time, they didn't make it to #1 based off all the Liam and Oasis hype. It worries me that so many big time artists have albums due in the fall. The fact that the week Liam's comes out is wide open makes me nervous they will pick that week. Why the hell not if you were them?

Why the hell not if you were them?Because every week after that week is also wide open Liam is the only really major name for all of October. So Eminem could easily pick the second week of October because there's nothing that week. Taylor Swift could pick the third week of that month because there's nothing that week either. For a record company, with every week in October being pretty open, there's no real reason to target Liam's week, unless October fills up really quickly and Liam's week becomes the odd week out. But you'd need about 5 or 6 major releases happening for that to occur.

Yea, even when an album hasn't been announced for release, there's always more information that a record label as big as Warner Bros. would have at their disposal. So though Eminem and Swift haven't officially announced their albums, there are probably good "guesses" out there as to when it could be. For Noel, it might be trickier. He's awfully close to Christmas, and that's when there's a greater chance for a major release to come out of nowhere tbh. But I'm sure his people have also done a lot of research too. Edit: And Liam does have 6 months worth of pre-orders. I honestly expect him to possibly shift 100k plus.

In America if it even makes the charts I see that as a huge win
