Except it is though isn't it, It's not something (SBOTA) that will connect to the core audience watching, its not a guitar pop song in the vein of Dream On. It also isn't very rock n roll, are they more bothered about selling records or being a rock n roll band, you can do both obviously, ie Beatles, Stones, Oasis etc etc, but this is inbetween, they're not selling bucket loads of records, and i cant get the feeling this could be an easy way for people to write of the band.
Oh and one final thing, it is the general conciousness that it is the worst song on the album.

(Chill out if you happen to be one of those that likes it)

"SBOTA" is definitely a top moment for beady eye.a great and very interesting track.a grower, a weirdo.once you get it , its hard to leave it.but its not groundbreaking and the first impression is that its an ugly little monster!btw, critics seems to appreciate it a lot.me too. BUT When you have the chance to perform in a very big audience you have to give them something else, something to connect with the first listen..sadly, these days people dont waste time to hear music.leak-download, hear, next album and here we go again, unless you are high on airplaay chart or the whole mainstream system supports you. beady eye now are the outsiders.the should play the game n then they can do whatever they fucking want.please dont waste a chance to make people like/love you. start Anew, please.

Are we sure they're doing SBOTA ? such a eird choice, why aren't they doing FOTF ? Is there any chance they'll do two songs ?

FOTF though just doesnt sound right to be played on this show. Maybe too much of a rocker? I think Beady Eye are better off playing to their strengths, instead of trying to fit the mold of a show that they're really not suited for anyways. This is pretty big. If they have another Jools performance it's going to be pretty bad for them. Why take the chance? They should do what they know will work. The Voice-- hardly fuckin' Ed Sullivan, is it? I dunno man, it seems you do have a penchant to put a lot of stock into a lot shit that doesn't matter at the end of the day or negatively affect the quality of the recordings. Is it some kind of congenital disease? cause this is extremely hyperbolic.

This is bigger than Jools Holland in terms of a core audience but it's certainly not more important than Jools, which they unfortunately made a bit of a meal of I quite like SBOTA but only as it's had like weeks to grow on me, problem with this kinda show and if you're wanting to promote, you get one chance to make a 1st impression and I can't see this being the right song to make a good impression. If you could pick any song to promote the current band........let's face it this wouldn't be it unless you're a complete mong, PHD in Marketing or not - it's just common sense.

I love Second Bite of The Apple, don't really get the hate myself. Tom Jones on vocals during the 'show what you love' bit would be mental, but I think they would be better off with Start Anew acoustic. It would get the ladies watching a bit moist and want to download it straight after the programme, I thought that would be the point of going on, to reach a new audience and increase sales? Liam's voice has always been faultless on it as well, which is the kind of point of the programme.

Flick Of The Finger would be the perfect song for the show, majority of reviews have called it the highlight of the album. SBOTA is a terrible choice, I really hope they change their mind.

I don't have a twitter account, but maybe the ones who do can tweet bdi acount, or andy's and Liam's massively to tell them to play Start a new or FOTF. Just an idea, I don't hope it would actually work but who knows.

Who honestly think that BDI are going to change their performance four days before the performance because a few people tweeted they prefer FOTF and Start Anew?
I too wish they had a different single out but they don't

This is a massive audience & a massive oppertunity for a sales & popularity hike. It therefore needs a massive vocals and the right song,NOT SBOTA. FFS man, we'll see, I hope they don't disappoint joe public as there is real added pressure playing these shows due to a backlash. BE good Beady Eye. Pressure IS on!! I hope it's not a mistake. Oh..FOTF get's my vote

I'm genuinely surprised by this. Thought that when Liam was disparaging of the idea of going on the Xfactor that that meant he didn't agree with doing that sort of thing. Then a week later there is the announcement that BDI are doing their even less credible cousin of a show. I don't really care if they do it personally. It's good promo and they need it. Be prepared for there to be a bad reaction on twitter though. Liam always polarizes with his vocals it seems. Plus The Voice audience, if they are anything like the US version, probably appreciate polished voices more than Liam's more raw voice...even if he isn't as shouty or nasally as he has a tendency to be in recent years. But they should pick up some sales even if it isn't universally lauded. "universally lauded"?? What does this even mean?

flick of the finger would probably blow jessie Js wig right off her slap head, anyway SBOTA is a lot better than any of the crap singing they churn out on that show.

Flick of the Finger is a crap choice as well - it doesn't have a chorus.

"universally lauded"?? What does this even mean? it's the arch enemy of universal gleam Phew, thank God. I was beginning to think there was, indeed, a universal consensus out there that I had to contend with. If the nature of Earth wasn't enough, I have to also garner sympathies from the known and unknown cosmos, and its known and unknown inhabitants.

Does anyone know what day it is actually recorded? Had confirmation from the mayor of my town that it's recorded here, on Friday and Saturday, but he doesn't know which day the boys are coming.... I can make tomorrow, but not Saturday!

They should do acoustic supersonic. Edit: Or mime Start Anew as it's a great tune but I don't think he can do it justice in one take, although I guess miming on a show called the voice would probably have him crucified once again in the press and social media.
