Whatever they do, I'll be happy as long as the sound engineers are better then them at Later with Jools

An acoustic version of Soon Come Tomorrow would be a great choice. A full band version of Second Bite at the Apple would be terrible.

They've got to play Flick Of The Finger. Stand out, big ballsy, brassy, swaggering Gallagher song that this audience would not have seen on Jools.

They've got to play Flick Of The Finger. Stand out, big ballsy, brassy, swaggering Gallagher song that this audience would not have seen on Jools. This. Start Anew is not a single. It's a great song to a fan and a good song by a non-fan, but that's the problem. It's just a good song to a non-fan. It has two hooks, Liam's voice and the drums at the end in the middle. But nothing in it is a hit single. Beady Eye aren't that kind of band. The reason everyone is naming different songs to perform is because they don't have any real obvious standout tracks, when I say stand out I mean hit single worthy, to a non-fan to perform. Flick of the Finger is the best option. If Liam voice isn't up to it, then at least the brass will cover it up. If his voice is up to it then that will add another hook to the song, including, the drums, lyrics, and brass, and speech at the end. It's the one that's definitely most ear catching live. It's a safe and good choice.

The Voice obviously have their own house band, so maybe they would join in if they did play FOTF?

FOTF though just doesnt sound right to be played on this show.
Maybe too much of a rocker?

I think Beady Eye are better off playing to their strengths, instead of trying to fit the mold of a show that they're really not suited for anyways. This is pretty big. If they have another Jools performance it's going to be pretty bad for them. Why take the chance? They should do what they know will work.

I'm putting a vote in for flick of the finger its just too awesome to hate, get the brass section again that they had on jools holland, hopefully liams vocals will be better (I think he WAS ill on Jools as hes sounded better since). As much as i love SBOTA and soul love they should stay clear of them as they don't appeal to the mass audience. This programme is crap but it has a big audience so you cant deny its good exposure.

If they sing Second Bite of the Apple, during the chorus when Liam sings "the word is up, if you're tough enough", Tom Jones should throw in a "Huh!"

They can still play to their strengths, but play something more universally likable. My thoughts were for Iz Rite or Im Just Sayin? They cant afford to do another Jools Holland, where the amount of stick they got from playing Soul Love or Second Bite - the public just aint gonna get it. They will get more suppprt and a better reception if they played anything else off the album.

If they are playing electric - Flick of the Finger. It sounded like an absolute monster live when they played it on Jools, even though Liam was only at about 50%. Imagine if he is on form! Please don't fucking play Second Bite of the Apple. You're just setting yourselves up to be ridiculed. If acoustic, play Soon Come Tomorrow or I'm Just Saying - they rock acoustically (if that's possible)

"Really looking forward to doing The Voice, it’s been a life-long ambition," insisted the former Brit pop hellraiser. Lol, that made me chuckle Avril is still smokin'.

WHY are they playing that?? If he's trying to prove he can sing, why pick the song he sounded awful on on Jools, and which is also the worst vocal by far on the entire album?? Plus, it's a divisive song amongst rabidly pro-Liam fans on here, so God knows what the general public, who tend to loathe Liam, are going to make of it.

Looks like liams going to shake the tree one more time. Not the best choice but it is the first single and its pretty catchy, still looking forward to it!

Why do they insist on playing their worst material at important events? Second Bite Of The Apple does not define Beady Eye. It is largely considered as a skip track by the fanbase (the people who actually care to listen) and they are going to use this song to try and lure new fans?

i suppose it had to be second bite as it's the lead single,i can kind of understand all the hate for it- but the bridge and chorus really lifts it to another level and its catchy as hell i think!
