Between that and the olympics, at least now people actually know that beady eye is Liam's new band. It wasn't the case last time around.

Did they do a duet with a voice candidate ? No. Were they juged after their performance by fucking Will I am ? No. Did they encourage the candidates, tell on itw wich one they prefer ? No. Did they do any itw on the show ? No. Did they ever tell it was good show ? No.
Did they perform on tv for promotion? Yes. Was the performance good? Yes.
That's it, they haven't sell out, they just did promotion. End of it.

^Ha ha great post.
Yeah it would have been awful if they asked Liam 'which of our singers do you like ?' or William (not will.i.am - ridiculous) asked questions about the band.
It was cringeworthy seeing that 'danny' dance around to the song, Jessie J i presume didnt like it as they didnt seem to show her (she was apparently annoyed at the olympics when she had to perform in front of their set).
But yeah thank god he didnt have to talk about the candidates. They did the job, went on, great performance and looked cool going straight off, not even any of the cheesey 'go buy our album its on sale now' as most of them do when theyre on shows like this.
It did the job, more people should know about Liam, top marks to Holly.W for raving about the song (as she went to the aftershow party shes obviously quite a fan anyway).

we were all wrong! beady eye didnt play it safe. they played 'their not so easy to get" SBOTA, when they could play "Start Anew". they had a great performance and we own them a lot of respect for their brave choice. we thought it could be a disaster, a few of us would love to see a disaster, but finally it was a 10/10. thats what real rock bands do.

It's simple promotion you bitching a moaning about it is pointless Its simple promotion on a fucking karaoke show that Liam himself would have done nothing but talk shit about in the past. He's a hypocrite of the highest order. Another one getting blocked it seems...

you're calling me an idiot? who the fuck are you? you little pathetic human being, , you really NEED TO BE YOURSELF. you can't be Liam Gallagher. so shut it, no one's gonna be a smart arse with me. fucking princess the funny thing is, that you kind of call him a Liam wannabe, without personality, but you remind me of a angry swearing Liam ( roundhouse 2009 like). just calm down, the performance was with backing track but the vocals were good. I personally enjoy it more to read through comments full of love for the band and not just the same negative stuff again and again.

reading through the comments, the only fault of alot of members here is, that they don't believe in them in some ways and decisions. me too i have to admit, cause i was sceptical at first hearing, that they play SBOTA but the performance worked and it seems most of the people, the band included, enjoyed it.
try to see it this way (for all the haters) The voice doesn't make Beady Eye looking like a Pop act, that sells out, but Beady Eye made The Voice look like a Rock show, for just a few minutes (dark lightning etc. )

It was also the most-watched programme on Saturday night's television schedule, posting an audience peak of 6.7 million Wow huge audience & Beady Eye did well! Great stage presence & they really lived up to the pressure! Liam was spot on. I actually liked SBOTA on this performance!

Its like we're fanatical Take That fans or something analysing every single thing he does. Liam wears some dodgy shoes and theres a thread about it, story in the Sun about Liam being drunk and having a piggy back on a dog and theres a thread about it. Theres not many live shows on TV nowadays, they had a big audience. One moment we slate the marketing company who are trying to sell BE as they dont often seem to do as much as we think, the second theyre on prime time TV (good move) people are moaning about that ! I mean jesus, people are getting upset like Beady Eye went on Loose Women or something. It was a big saturday night primetime show they went on, no cheesey interviews, they did a great performance, just enjoy instead of analysing every single detail (dont mean the original poster, i mean some of the comments in this thread) I'm not a huge fan of SBOTA but Liam was superb last saturday

I thought Liam sounded good and BE put on a great performance. I normally dislike most of these reality TV singing contests, but I can't fault BE for appearing and doing promo--I'd only have a problem if Liam decided to be a judge on this or something. As it is, it was great exposure, and the audience liked them. I don't really like SBOTA on the album, but for some reason when BE perform it live, it is much better.

Band sounded good, the live version of the tune is much better, well done!
But the best part was seeing those idiot judges watch them.

not to say that I'm glad in any way that they associated themselves with that shit But yet again how can they play live to a large audience on TV ? Theres no 'white room' anymore, no TFI Friday with live bands, not even Top of the Pops. Its Jools Holland on BBC2, they had a chance for a big saturday night audience. A lot of the time its about marketing so that bloke spouting off that it hurt their album sales, its not just about sales, its about advertising/marketing, more people will know about Beady Eye. The Voice isnt a 'cool' show but at least its better than X Factor. Again there was no cheesy interview, no 'what did you think of 'Wayne' whos in the semi final ?' or 'who did you think was the best tonight?' etc. Said it before, we slag off Beady Eye when they have no marketing, then we moan when theyre on one of the biggest shows on saturday night. We're a tough crowd to please
