Is that Netflix docu going to be released on both US and UK Netflix? They don’t provide the identical content.

It would make sense if the first visible interaction between Noel and Liam came in the form of a documentary. That serves the hype well rather than some dull press conference. But March is so bleeding far away. We need content and hype well before then. Well we're getting into the Christmas season soon and f*** all happens then, then you have the new year hangover. So March makes sense.

But Xmas season is a good time for Oasis to sell and release something.Well they wouldn't have anything to sell, and as much as I'd like to settle down in front of a log fire at Christmas and watch Oasis on Netflix, they'd still have a hell of a lot of time before the gigs and doing something now would just spread out all releases meaning no momentum or hype.

Now a Netflix docu? How did this band blow up all of a sudden? Like sure, nostalgia factor but this goes well beyond a nostalgia act at this point. This is truly mental. I stopped Netflix many years ago… but I’ll subscribe in March for one month. Presumably the documentary will be about how the reunion happened seeing as the gigs don’t kick off until Summer 2025. it could just be a general docu about the band / last 30 years to cash in on the hype they do the toys that made us / the films that made us type stuff sp could be something like that The question is, does it go any further than Knebworth 1996? Or is it just Supersonic all over again? I sure would love a proper documentary of some of the other 28 years!

As long as the rest of the live 25 sells out then they got the happy ending that shows they are on top of wold again . So can go past the 'glory' years warts and all for the second act

Is there a chance we will be comparing 2025 and the years beyond to the mid 90’s ultimately wondering which decade was bigger for Oasis?
I know that sounds so unfathomable, but so did the idea of selling out multiple nights at US NFL stadiums within minutes a mere few days ago.

unless they release 1 album let alone 2 albums to that 'changed everything' for a lot of people I doubt it..
id think if anything this reunion/ revival of oasis in 25 will just seal those first 2 albums for another generation (or 2)

All those talks about Noel losing half of his money because of the divorce, who says that's true? Is used Google translate for this because I don't know the English word. Did Noel and Sara have a prenuptial agreement?

paraphrasing Noel always said just cos your number 1 doesn't mean your good probably means your shit (in reference to album sales)
This is that for ticket sales. it'll probably be the era they make the most money but that doesn't make it relevant to anything (hopefully it does and well be remembering it in another 20 years)
but this tour could come and go and just be another tour from a band
In the UK specifically the 90s will always be theirs

Noel is staring down sixty. He’s not going to be able to do massive world tours for much longer. Well... The Rolling Stones are an outlier……both Keith and Mick are 80, 80, eight zero. Most people today don’t live to 80 let alone still make music and perform live….it’s amazing. God bless Keith and Mick.

If I remember correctly, the BHN lead up and hype was surrounded by intentional secrecy…. Are they employing the same marketing strategy here with Live ‘25?
I think they are, you know.

Did Noel and Sara have a prenuptial agreement? I have always wondered this too. Are prenups not a thing in England? Otherwise I would absolutely assume anyone worth what Noel was in 2011 would have one.

For the Live '25 gigs: 'Fuckin' in the Bushes' as walk-on music, and the final 20 seconds of 'Magic Pie' looped when the lights come up at the end.
*sniff* "Oh dear!..."

Read the fantastic 'My Magpie Eyes Are Hungry For The Prize: The Creation Records Story" and you'll be praying they don't deploy the same tactics. Ignition Management were acting like the f***ing KGB towards everyone and Creation Records, threatening everyone and inadvertently hyping everything up because of their paranoia. It was an absolute farce, and I can imagine Alan McGee and co thought Marcus Russell and his team were the biggest bellends on the face of the earth. Ultimately did the band no favours at all.

The vacuum of new information makes for the dullest of conversation. The worst is talking about how they're "doing it for the money." As if their intentions when they were in their twenties of being the biggest band in the world were somehow more noble because what, they were younger then?
Just a preview of what's to come - Liam's voice will have on and off nights, Noel might seem bored at times, if there's new music it'll probably be good but not classic, and the shirts might cost way too much.
And who cares. We get to see Oasis play some of our favorite songs in huge sold out stadiums. Have a pint with your mates, sing with masses, and have a laugh. That's all it was ever about anyway... Which is why it's going to be fookin' great.

You done? Good, you pay until I say you don't have to pay no more. You know how many tabs, how many dinners I've picked up over the years? Fuckin Richie Aprile, fat fuckin Gerry Anastasia: those guys killed me at Benihanas and forget it, I put a new wing on Peter Luger's! Brandy, cigars, champagne, I could've bought a fuckin plane! Whatever, it's tradition. It's like in ancient times, the samurai had these young boys that did their errands, wash their clothes, shit like that: it's a sign of respect. You should cheer up, one day some kid will be paying for your dinner. God bless.
