Let's spice this thread up with the clip of the unknown demo from Part I of the Making Of filmed by Anais  The watermark is annoying but it's to prevent the usual suspects from stealing stuff shamelessly then sharing it on YT and getting money through monetization, PayPal donations or whatever. It keeps happening and I'm tired of that shit. Listen Noel, I know you're going through it and I hope in a year everything will be alright but still...I just need this album to come out, thanks So he just strums and generic chord progression and ask people not to steal it ?  (im being cocky) Gibson sound is magical though We're saying this again and agin, release you acoustic album but dont fuck it up. No compression, no funny sound. |

I know I'm the biggest and most annoying advocate for the acoustic album on planet Earth, but I also wouldn't mind a full record in the way of Flying on The Ground or I'm Not Giving Up Tonight
I think that soul-infused style and joyful mood really make his melodies shine and it's a good balance between classic Noel and something fresh and different
Would probably go down worse than WBTM with the fanbase, but still

I know I'm the biggest and most annoying advocate for the acoustic album on planet Earth, but I also wouldn't mind a full record in the way of Flying on The Ground or I'm Not Giving Up Tonight I think that soul-infused style and jouful mood really make his melodies shine and it's a good balance between classic Noel and something fresh and different Would probably go down worse than WBTM with the fanbase, but still Agree 100%. Not the muffled sound he's known for the last few years. It needs wall of sound, shiny horns and acoustic guitars reborn from the 50s. Something more organic. Like in his early days of acoustic songs by Oasis. |

Been listening to stereophonics again these days and one song sound like what I have in mind : Climbing the wall from the 2003 album. Fine production great acoustic sound (and actually a bit stolen from Oasis early guitar sound). This is it you old whiney Gallagher, this is the sound. You can do it. |

Noel's initial plan, according to himself on the latest Matt Morgan podcast, is to demo the songs in the early part of 2024, tour in the summer, take the rest of the year off, record for proper in 2025 and release in 2026. So, virtually identical to the timescale of Council Skies.
