If Noel does an acoustic album will EVERY track start with “One, two, three, four…” 😂

It's criminal this has never turned up on an official release yet. Just you wait. It’ll be on the acoustic album even though Noel said he’s got 30 extra fresh songs left over from Quarantine. I hoping for a Techno Acid Folk album. With collaborations from Scooter, Billy Ray Sirus and Tony Blair on the spoons.

44:20 Noel mentions the studio Toe Rag where he worked with the black keys an analog studio, he liked the experience but it isn't something he sees doing more of in the future. They are working out some musical arrangements mossyen.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toe_Rag_Studios.

They probably won’t be released on his next album or under his name I think. The Black Keys work fast so hopefully it won’t be long before we hear them 🤞

That intro for ''Open the Door, See What You Find'' is one of the most annoying and shittiest pieces of music ever.

During the NG/Garbage show this past weekend in Franklin, the following thought occurred to me:
I hope the outcome of this tour is Butch Vig signing on to produce the (stadium) rock album Noel says he has on deck. Or really just any album. I think he works better when there's someone challenging him, and I'd really love to hear something a bit more rocking from him, a bit noisier. If only for once.

What are the chances that in 3 years from now, Noel describes to scrap the whole “acoustic album” thing?
He’d never do it, but I’d love a little 5-song EP of acoustic tracks sooner rather than later.

According to an interview they did with the NME, their album is due out next year: www.nme.com/news/music/the-black-keys-32-noel-gallagher-beck-tour-tickets-indie-sleaze-strokes-glastonbury-3431217

Right on! The interview I was referring to was at the Grammys and Pat said it should be out “later this year.” However, that interview was prior to the one you posted, so I guess it’ll be 2024 til we hear it. Edit: Link below in case anyone cares to watch it. www.billboard.com/video/theblackkeys-grammys2023-interview/

Gotta admit is quite possible, he have already scrapped entire projects before. Another possibility is the acoustic album becomes a regular album. An orchestra here, some drums there, bit of a guitar solo in this one and voi la, you have a regular but slighly more calm HFB album. Im actually way more excited about the stadium rock one. I mean, Noel does a LOT of acoustic, havent heard some proper rock'n'roll from him in some time

Once he starts playing the field and picks up a twenty three year old model girlfriend, he’ll be tucking the acoustic divorce record down the back of his sock drawer faster than you can say “sun-shiiiiine”.

The acoustic album is clearly very much a direct response to the divorce and he's said it's bleak. He'd need to be in the right headspace, to be honest you'd kind of hope he's not in that headspace in a year's time when he might actually get to working on it. If he's happy and loving life again I can't see why he'd want to go over all that again, seems pretty depressing. Missed the boat really when he decided to stop recording it after he finished CS. But of course some people mourn a divorce for years so he might still be there in a year. I am certainly setting my expectations low though. He'll start writing other material more related to where he is now too. May well be we just get a couple of the tracks as part of a more normal album.

Yeah can totally see the stadium rawk and acoustic albums being combined into one. He always talks a big game of having multiple albums on the go, but they often don’t pan out. Time will tell. ⌚️👀

We thought there was nothing leftover from the Moon sessions then he sprung three EPs on us, so there’s a slim chance of something like this. I’d bet on a covers EP with LWTUA etc being more likely though. 💔

Let's spice this thread up with the clip of the unknown demo from Part I of the Making Of filmed by Anais The watermark is annoying but it's to prevent the usual suspects from stealing stuff shamelessly then sharing it on YT and getting money through monetization, PayPal donations or whatever. It keeps happening and I'm tired of that shit.
