At this stage as the number of effected people is increasing in Europe every day, it's not debatable anymore whether you wear a face mask or not. I saw on the news last night that someone in Italy said "We wear one even if it saves only one single person from dying" and that's the simple explanation. And it's not such a big issue to wear it in a shop/public transport/city hall/museums etc. Just do it for sake for each other and I call it solidarity. It's a waste of time to keeping debating to wear it or not to wear it. Just do it FFS and don't be a d**k. Precisely!! If they do work, then they're helping stop the spread, if they don't, it's just a minor inconvenience.... could we just all agree to put all our chances to beat this worldwide international pandemic instead of bitching about how it's oh so uncomfortable and our rights and freedom and bla bla bla bla bla... it's a bloody face mask FFS!! The arguments we see now! Oh it's not that effective, the virus' size is X microns and the mask protects up to X microns, testing for oxygen levels when several asian coutries wear masks on a daily basis and doctors and nurses wear them all day, etc. Not even taking into account the supposed threat of tyranny and a new world order... fucking hell people get over yourselves and get off YouTube for a week or two!! So, put on a mask, stop bitching about it, stop acting like a 12 year old forced to wear a scarf in winter, be an adult and do what you have to do! End of fucking story!

I think it's pretty pathetic the way some people moan about wearing one.

I'm glad it's only in public spaces and not everywhere on the street.

And we can’t help it.

I'm not defending the fact he doesn't want to wear a mask, but this article is misleading, he's walking to a restaurant on his own the only person putting themselves at risk is the photographer who could of course just fuck off and mind his own.....there's also a picture of him putting a mask on before he goes through the door of the restaurant which hasn't been shown, so what's the problem???

IMO nothing. You don't have to wear one out on the streets and you shouldn't have to.

Yeah I have to agree with dampcottage here, it's a misleading article. Then again, it's the Daily Mail, so...

I never read anything they have to say about Noel and Liam as their reports are usually a load of old bullshit anyway.

This is a very low time for Noel, unbearable. And of course he play the tough guy because in case he gets infected (or whatever the sickness he might develop in the future) he will run to a private hospital full of oxford-trained doctors, not to the NHS. I hope the people in this forum who support his statements have the same resources and possibilities that he has... Excactly. Not everyone has his sort of money to be able to go private when anything happens. I have a friend who's an ICU consultant and he says you never want to go to a private ICU (in the UK). If things take a turn for the worst you'll get moved to an NHS ICU anyway as they have more resources/staff. So perhaps Noely G isn't a "safe" as he thinks?
