The last time I attended one of Noel's concerts was in may 2019 when he played the Palladium in London. Front row. I said to myself, that I won't see him again in the near future because it was great sitting/standing there and enjoying Oasis songs, his "old" solo stuff and some "meh" songs from his last album. But when I lived in London I always enjoyed seeing shows at the Royal Albert Hall. One of the best venues worldwide. So I am gonna see him again in march and I'll try to take a picture with him at the artist entrance. But after this show I guess I am really done with him. You can't compare Liams's and Noel's gigs. It is great to see Gem and Chris with Noel but it would be so much better to see both of them on stage with Liam. It makes sense for Noel to stop producing "music" for atleast a year or two. I don't think that he could sell out venues with more than 4/5.000 people outside of the UK right now. Strange thing is his last US tour (I know, it's 2 years ago now) is the biggest tour either Gallagher has done in the US in terms of venue size since DOYS. Not saying every venue was full - I'm sure they weren't - but he did play at Radio City Music Hall etc.

Getting on for 4 weeks since they went on sale and all tickets still available except the cheap seats. Only around another 4 weeks now until showtime.
I'm anticipating a very grumpy Noel will turn up for these gigs. I really hope this doesn't affect his mood or setlist at TCT.

That’ll show everyone.

I'm anticipating a very grumpy Noel will turn up for these gigs. I really hope this doesn't affect his mood or setlist at TCT. I'm hoping it gives him a kick and motivation. As mentioned the last time he played a smaller venue in Manc was July '18 (Ritz) and AFAIK it's the only time in recent memory he played the whole of WBTM in full, Alone on The Rope and a string of others. Despite his bravado arrogance I think he still genuinely understands the importance of crafting a good live experience I just want a vaguely interesting refresh of the setlist. Dream setlist out of my ass that won't happen. (I know, one or two changes at best) - This is the Place (I like Fort Knox but shake it up) - Blue Moon Rising - Black Star Dancing - A Dream Is All I Need - Holy Mountain - Wandering Star - Beautiful World - Man Who Built The Moon - Rattlin' Rose - Dead in the Water - Everybody's on the Run - Hey Now - Do The Damage - Riverman - Talk Tonight - Shakermaker - Live Forever Encore - Stranded on the wrong Beach - Simple Game of Genius - Don't Look Back In Anger

Usually we get a few surprises for TCT and I imagine Manchester will be a warm up so the setlist will be largely the same. I think Come On Outside should be a safe bet. Hey Now would be great. Or anything unusual from the Oasis days. I'd love to hear Don't Go Away again.

Don't Go Away would be very nice but hell, I think pretty much any song from that era he'd be able to put out a nice version of Obscure wise, I'd like a version of Flashbax or more cuts from the Be Here Now era Kick off the gig with D'Ya Know What I Mean

Just cancel the damn concerts in march. I already cancelled my flight to London (British Airways cancelled one of them) and I am just waiting to receive a refund when they cancel it. I contacted Ticketmaster UK. They just said that it's still on. Johnson is such a clown.

If we’re dream-setlist-ing for a show that probably isn’t happening... this is unrealistic probably but would be both a great show and a bold confident HFB-heavy show.

When it was announced that places are banning events over 200 people and I read about NG current ticket sales - his gigs should be unaffected

Monday looks like the day that Johnson is gonna announce all large events are banned.
So these and the TCT gig will be gone. Shame.

Cancelled, accoriding to the french girl in the band. Posted on Facebook earlier. Yeh , no surprise I just hope refunds are available. I'm a freelance sports reporter and have had four out of six shifts cancelled next week because of all the postponements. So basically, £70 is actually gonna be a huge help right now.

Is this Herd Immunity gonna work? My gut feeling is the UK gov have left it far too late for it to work. Their plan – I honestly believe looking at it from a simple pov – is a good one in general. Delay the peak by allowing a certain amount of people to become infected and spread out the strain on the NHS. So instead of a two-week peak, probably in mid-April, it's a peak of about six weeks but one which can be managed. Unfortunately it's become quickly evident that there has not been enough testing done to properly gauge where the virus is at in the UK. This talk of a peak coming in 10 weeks time seems nonsensical. That's longer ago than the first cases in China were reported. I'm pretty sure most people will get it and the vast majority will be absolutely fine. It's a very rough cold. But based on all the reading I've been doing on it the main fear is how quickly it spreads and how it can't be stopped. But it does boil down to the best way to treat it is by most people getting it and having natural immunity.

I really hope that TCT is postponed and not cancelled altogether.
I'd much rather have the gig to look forward to than have the £70 refunded.

I'd imagine people in poverty don't fare well either. Thats the main issue in my eyes. The majority of deaths from the virus are in that bracket.
