I agree with you but just remember when you click the "BUY TICKETS" button the day the tix go on sale, nobody is forcing you to do so. Myself, personally, the button could have (and should have) said SUCKER when I clicked it, and I would have clicked it anyway. On the flipside I have seen John Mellencamp and The Violent Femmes for $20 each and also The Stones (in the pit nonetheless) for $79, so I guess it all comes out in the wash? Bottom line: buyer beware. You’re right point taken but there was a time when the only thing you had to worry about were the rip off fees Now you can’t even trust the lowest price. No pricing integrity. I just checked a few of the shows, I don't see any $20 tickets. Either they were scooped up right away, or they haven't been made available yet? The $20 All-in email I received wants me to install the app. Yeah, so NOT doing that.

I saw very, very few for the San Diego show @ 20 and I checked The Who seattle show I bought tickets for last week and didn't see any at $20. Crisis averted. Glad I don't have to burn down ticketmaster...yet

well, guys... hopefully noel realizes that pumpkins fans don't want to hear his experimental dance pop garbage and it doesn't dominate his setlist. one can only fuckin hope.

Grabbed some tix during the $20 promotion! I was a little apprehensive about buying tickets since he's basically opening for Smashing Pumpkins (which I'm not really a fan of) but for $20 I couldn't resist

The wife keeps asking me if I've bought tickets yet... might have to do it soon.
EDIT: just took a look at tickets... 80% of all tickets are still available... guess I'm in no rush. Yikes!

This tour is in danger of being a huge financial bust...just looking around at a few of the venues and a TON of tickets are unsold. While I don't mind BSD, that song will certainly not motivate ticket sales, especially among Pumpkins-leaning fans.

My brother has been a fan of SP since ‘93 and he digs the new tune. Just thought I’d add that.

Smashing Pumkins are one of those bands that I like a few of their tunes but as far as I can remember they've had almost zero exposure in the UK so I've never got round to discovering their stuff. Probably like Oasis in reverse when it comes to US/UK popularity. I need to give them a go now I have Spotify.

Like Oasis, their best material leans heavier on their earlier work (Today, Disarm, Tonight Tonight, Zero, 1979, etc).

Apples and oranges I know, but the Liam/Ashcroft show I went to in Boston was the same way, and by the time Liam went on I would say the place was around 85% full. Not sure if they were giving tickets away at the gate right before showtime though (?)

That's what often happens when ticket sales are poor...

It's not even that big of a venue, shame these guys aren't appreciated the way they should be.

I remember that gig, we called it the hunger games entrance lol. They had everybody line up at about 8 different doors then open them simultaneously. Everyone ran down to the barricade and it was 2-3 rows deep in a few minutes. I thought that show might get a little rowdy like the old days but it didn’t haha. Was loud as fuck though, almost proper oasis loud. I couldn’t tell if it was only 80% full. They almost didn’t let RA in though, staff didn’t know who he was 🤦♀️

Not sure if they were giving tickets away at the gate right before showtime though (?) The Boston show was a make up for his cancelled gig at the House of Blues (2500 capacity). The Blue Hills Bank Pavilion holds about 5200, so not surprisingly the larger venue was not sold out.

Just got back from Houston and the local alternative station there was promoting their contest for free tickets for the date there all weekend.
