Its been a very understated release campaign for sure. I think I like the first single the best followed by the second. The current single feels too samey from previous albums. Kinda like Butterfly House and the "lost" album from 2014. I like my Coral dirty with a splash of sea shanty.
Bill Ryder-Jones has a new album coming out this fall. I'm more pumped for that. I love his influences that you clearly hear on record. Think Pavement meets Lou Reed divided by early Strokes.

After two listens I prefer Distance Inbetween. This album seems a bit Butterfly House and mellow for me, I know more Coral-like to be fair so shouldn't complain. Good to have them putting out new material quick again though

I'm loving it, another high quality release from the lads.
One of my favourite bands for sure.

After seeing the artwork, I expected the worst - but thank god I was wrong - very nice, reminds me of the first coral records!

Really liking this album. I really loved Butterfly House, so I'm happy with this album with typical Coral sounds. Terrible artwork.
My favourite songs are Sweet Release, She's A Runaway, Eye's Of The Moon and Undercover Of The Night.
The Coral are a band with quality, yet still underrated.

Been listening to this album on repeat today. More I listen to it, more I love it.
Hopefully they'll announce European tour soon.

Interesting that James said they had another album ready to go that was similar in vein to Distance Inbetween. I really liked that album. Dark tones and texture. Lots of fuzz guitar. Closer to their debut sound or even Invisible Invasion.

Some serious ELO vibes all over this album. Channeling the "sons of Beatles," eh? Sounds good.

Closer to their debut sound or even Invisible Invasion. If you want something more psychedelic, driving and fuzz guitar-y then check out Serpent Power's second album Electric Looneyland. It's Ian Skelly and Paul Molloy's Coral side-project.

I was a bit unsure at first - I thought it was a bit too poppy especially after Distance Inbetween which I love - but I'm well into it now!
