So now these are out the way, what happens next? Is he going to produce his new album by himself? I hope not. While these EPs are different, they still need that bit of a push to bring out something really special. It's eclectic but there's still a nagging feeling that things are a bit tame too. Noel's production, while fine, is too clean, too professional, too restrained and not risky enough. David Holmes really made his songs bombastic - some of those songs will burst your ear drums whether its the pounding rhythm of Keep On Reaching, the heavy beats of Fort Knox, the racket of Holy Mountain or the epic Man Who Built The Moon. Noel needs to push the sound to its limits. A new producer will do that. Noel should go away and enjoy himself for a year or two and return in 2022 with TWO albums. 1. The follow up to WBTM 2. The long awaited TCT style acoustic album (a perfect way to offload all the 'classic Noel' type songs he's been stockpiling. This would please everybody. He’s mentioned his next album possibly being a double, so we may actually get this but in one lump. X

This would please everybody. I think he could also please everybody by releasing a perfect ten-track album filled with absolute classics that put to shame every single Oasis ever released in the 90s, or by redefining the genre of rock and single handedly altering the course of mainstream music. So I don't really see why he should do anything else.

Noel prophetic once again.
There's a storm out on the horizon And it's coming our way By the light of the blue moon rising Shall we just run away?

The live version of Wandering Star was great, with the powerful vocals and the horns in the instrumental break. It's a shame the studio version turned out to be rather boringly produced, with the dull vocals turned down to fuck all and the compression turned up beyond 11. It could've been a hit, but ended up sounding like a SOTSOG b-side at best and you fucking know it. Oh well 😎 What's the best live version of Wandering Star, pre-release? Is there a quality bootleg? Would love to get it on

Noel's right in the middle of his UK tour around that time too. If he plans on going away for a few years after this upcoming stint maybe he'll treat us to something special and finally drop Dont Stop The Happening 😎

X I doubt even the coronavirus can survive in King’s Cross, Noel should be fine. Kings’s Cross is spread across Camden and Islington, both of which already have confirmed Coronavirus cases. Unfortunately it seems that dodgy kebabs and overpriced lager do not provide protection. X
