I must admit Liam's voice is sounding good. His voice will sound different from when he first started as that's 25 years ago now. I don't care if he's had vocal training/coaching. As long as he holds the notes and doesn't sing through his nose he sounds great. People have a go at the Beady Eye days but listen to the acoustic gig they did for Absolute radio, his voice was great. He became a little lazy at the bigger gigs by cutting off the end of the long notes

I think his voice sounds good now. Not the best in the last 20 years but we all know that I think. I listened to DYou Know What I Mean from Finsbury Park in 2002 and the one from yesterday at Pinkpop and yesterday was better in my opinion. Not a lot but he seems to have more breath now and tries more to sing now than back then. If he keeps that up it will be good I think.

Once Liam changed his vocal style in 94/95 to the throaty sneer the problems were pretty immediate on tours. The early bootlegs show the cracks beginning to appear. However this vocal style resulted in the sound that made him instantly recognizable, he peaked during the Be Here Now sessions.
I remember a vocal coach telling me in 1998 that Liam wouldn't be able to sing at all in 5 years due to his singing style and posture.
Almost 20 years later he still sounds amazing.

Basically can't fault his voice here. Never ever thought he'd sound as good as that again.

he shouldn't even be attempting songs like that with a high registry anymore imo. i think that's where he starts forcing it and burns his voice out trying to hit the high notes. he just sounds like shit when he does - lowering his voice to adjust- almost talking thru it when it becomes apparent. leave the legacy with certain tunes where it is.

wont put a time frame on it, but he sounds better than i ever thought he could. still missing some notes, but also seems to be getting better every show, so im actually looking forward to hearing more...which i havent said in 15 years, so i guess i will put a time frame on it. his 'be here now' @ pinkpop was pretty damn good.

To me this is the same old thread and story. Liam always sounds good at the start of tours. Its the end that is an issue at times. Too much wear and tear. For now I'll enjoy the good vocals and vibes. He should prob do less gigs and always a day off between shows for maximum effectiveness. I've personally been lucky, I saw Oasis 11 times and Beady Eye 3 times. Only got hit with one terrible performance at Terminal 5 in 2011. Everything else was money.

And it's not always the case that he starts off tours good and gradually gets worse. On the DOYS tour it was quite the opposite. He sounded pretty bad at Electric Proms and the early gigs apart from maybe the warm up gig, but by the festival gigs in 2009 he sounded pretty good iTunes Festival, Gurten and Melt Festival in particular.

So, Liam's voice was just becoming worse every year after Andy and Bell joined him in the band. Now that they are gone, his voice is back. Maybe they are Blur's fans and they were putting something in his drink all the time to make his voice sound shit and plus they were writing shit songs to ruin Oasis legacy.

His voice sounds like of "July 2002"! Very good! But Live forever live at On love Manchester, sounds like 1996-97 era! Amazing!!!

Amazing!!! er, no. even though it was really good compared to his standards over the last decade, there was still a bit of kermit there. and honestly, i believe kermit will always be there. there's just something that happened to his voice which cannot be reversed. sadly.
