Country House is miles better than Roll With It. I like both songs, not great but both fun - but the single as a whole would have to go to Roll With It. Why? Rockin Chair of course!

Take Me Away is one of their finest b-sides.

Take Me Away is one of their finest b-sides. I always had a soft spot for this one, it's the It's Better People of the DM era. Always overlooked because of the other great b-sides in those era's.

Noel Gallagher's fans should call themselves Turds. Best fandom name ever.

The Verve (in my opinion) are better than both in their primes.
Also Forth was the better album in 2008 than Dig Out Your Soul.

One of the best compliments you could give to The Verve is - what was their prime? The Verve supporting Ride at Sheffield Octagon on 5th March 1992 takes some beating Other than that 'A Northern Soul' was a criminally undervalued album from 1995 despite support slots with Oasis, and obviously the breakthrough of Urban Hymns and the (perhaps unknown at the time) final victory parade at Haigh Hall.

Thanks lubeck for posting Some Might Say. I hadn't listened it in a while and that intro riff sounded so cool so I went to google tabs. Okay, that intro is harder to play with guitar but those chords sound so cool. Just D-Bm-G-D-A and you get a fucking great sounding chord progression.

The verses of Take Me Away are fucking gorgeous. The lyrics in the chorus let it down.

My Sister Lover and I Got the Fever are tenfold better than Flashbax, which I find to be a little blase (aside from the neat whistling solo and spacey pre-chorus).

Roll with it and Wonderwall are rubbish. Swap them out for Acquiesce and Rocking Chair and that album would unquestionably be the best of all time..
DOYS is the third best Oasis album. Heathen Chemistry is the worst and Hindu Times is by far the band's worst single
Love Like a Bomb is dreadful. So is Songbird. And Evil Eye (those lyrics are appalling!). In fact the only half decent Liam Gallagher songs are Little James and I'm Out of Time and even that suffers from the Lennon sample.
Gem should have been made to play bar chords like Bonehead did. Their live sound got shit as they became more polished and his Don't Look Back in Anger solo was poor.
Bonehead WAS Oasis. Any reunion needs that man in the band. That said, a reunion is an awful idea. The only person in the world who needs it is Liam.

Noel forgot how to play melodies since 1998.

Yeah, sure, let's take off their most famous single, the one they're known for, the one all starting guitar players get inspired by, the one that sparked various memes, the one everyone, whether you're a fan or not, knows the lyrics to.
The one that's probably one of the main reasons WTSMG sold as much as it did.
Yeah let's do that.
