- (It's Good) To Be Free, Underneath the Sky and Rockin' Chair are all boring b-side songs and I'm thrilled they're not on either Definitely Maybe or (WTS)MG?. - Step Out is a great song. Stay Young isn't. - Clearly D'You Know What I Mean? is the best song on Be Here Now however the second and third best...? My Big Mouth and Magic Pie.- I have little time for Stand By Me, Don't Go Away and All Around The World. I really don't like them. - The entire Be Here Now era is overrated. - There is little wrong with She Is Love being a single and I'd have shown support for Force of Nature being released as one too. - The quality between Four Letter Word and Hung in a Bad Place is slight yet the difference in opinion varies greatly. Hmm... - There isn't a bad song on DOYS. I agree with everything.

HFB songs need Liam's vocals and BE songs need Noel's songwriting.

Gem and Andy (post-Ride) were appalling songwriters who had no right to be in Oasis.
I'd rather listen to Rod Stewart farting through a microphone than listen to their cringe worthy embarrassing 'cool dad' shtick.

HFB songs need Liam's vocals and BE songs need Noel's songwriting. the only HFB song that could possibly be made better by a Liam vocal is 'Lock All The Doors'. And maybe 'Record Machine'.

- I love Born on a Different Cloud and despise Keep The Dream Alive. It is the only Oasis song I always skip.
- I never liked Stop The Clocks (Zanzibar Club, demos or final version) nor Record Machine (demos or final version). I think they're average at best.
- I think Dig Out Your Soul is their best MKII album and would have been so much better WITHOUT High Horse, Ain't Got Nothin' and The Doors' Waiting for the Rapture (this is sarcasm by the way I know it's not really a Doors song).
- I think WTSMG is dull but has great songs on it like Cast No Shadow and Champagne Supernova.
- Roll With It sucks
- I find Don't Look Back In Anger overplayed and never listen to it anymore (although at a gig it is pretty cool to sing it in unison).
- I think Songbird is ridiculously overrated.
That's all I could come up with.

Oh yeah, I'm not particularly fond of Stop The Clocks and Record Machine either. At least Stop The Clocks has..decent-ish lyrics.

Probably my least popular opinions but:
- Live forever and Slide away are over-rated - Who feels love is in my top 10 Oasis songs

Who Feels Love, Born on a Different Cloud, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, and Evil Eye are all overrated. I like The Meaning of Soul. I think DGSS is better than BE. Evil Eye is probably the best Liam's song along with Songbird and the best Beady Eye song, by far, imo. Beautiful track. I do agree about Liam's songs : 1 Songbird 2 Evil Eye 3 TheWorld's Not Set In Stone And yeah Lubeck, Whatever is also my fav'. Four Letter Word & Flick Of The Finger are utter shit. I don't like SCYHO.

RADIOHEAD ARE BETTER THAN OASIS. I liked the first album, the next three were a stunning trio of releases, haven't got into anything since by them.

I didn't see who and what you were responding to at first, and thought you were talking about Oasis and only having the first 3 of their albums. I was like: Radiohead are proper shit, though.

Haha no I was talking about Radiohead. Each to their own, I like the albums I quoted and although I will admit they have been overrated by fans and media alike, I think a good number of people have been put off and dismiss them on that basis, so it works both ways.

Radiohead and Oasis are both really fucking good. Ok?
Anyway, I'm not having any of this ICSAL-was-alright-all-along rhubarb. It's shit at worse and bad at best.

What about pull/pulk and like spinning plates? Pulk/Pull is good in it's place, and Like Spinning Plates is a legitimately great song. One of their best I'd say. Ominous yet quite emotional in the chorus. And I'll take them both over She is Love. And that was a single!

My 17 year old self (when I joined this forum) would boke and laugh at me for suggesting Radiohead are better than Oasis, but here I am at the age of 25 slagging off Oasis Mk II for everything under the sun while thinking A Moon Shaped Pool is one of the best releases of the last few years.
It's chalk and cheese to compare them though - both are great. The lightning in a bottle genius of Oasis in the 90s can rarely be topped, but neither can the painstaking craft of a Radiohead album be replicated.
I personally prefer 90s Oasis over 90s Radiohead, but I also think 21st century Radiohead sharts on Oasis Mk II from a great height. Thom Yorke 'shitting into a lightbulb' as Noel once said would actually be more interesting than a lot of the dross served up by Oasis Mk II.
