It is officially 25th Feb in Japan now, or are we still correct in thinking we wont have anything till the morning? The Japanese don't usually leak or post CDs we might not get a HQ rip from them. Probably more likely from someone who's imported it |

Has anyone actually heard the full Deluxe version of Freaky teeth yet? I'm gasping for it Yeah, can't wait for it. If only I could find a way to buy it off the Japanese iTunes or some similar store... |

We have gotten FLAC rips of the Japan versions of BE, Definitely Maybe reissue, Morning Glory reissue, I'm sure we will get the high quality FLAC/mp3 of this album as well. It's just after midnight in Japan right now, gotta give it more time.

 I've gotta tell you, it was painful having to sit through the leak but I'm very glad I did. I haven't been this excited going to the record shop since Be Here Now. The process of waking up, counting down the hours till I could go the shops and then actually seeing and buying the album...brought me back to a time when music was genuinely exciting. I highly recommend you try it. I'm gonna chase this feeling...no more downloading leaks for me (for Oasis related albums anyway). A couple of points: - When I got to Tower Records, the album was on display in it's own section. My copy was the LAST COPY. Looks to be doing well in Japan so far. - On the display, they have a list of recommended tracks (stand out tracks I think). I think 7 of the songs were on that list! That's a very high number. I saw some other new albums that only had 3 or 4 tracks recommended. Tower Records, at least, seem to like the album. - The album cover does not look as bad when in print. It's less white and Noel looks less of a dick. Anyway, I've not listened to it yet. I'm off to a friends house who has some B&W speakers. Gonna listen with 3 or 4 other people who are not Oasis fans. Gonna be interesting to see what they think. We've got Kirin beer on ice and some sushi to feast on as we listen. I live for such nights. Looooook! |

Fact: Every Japanese exclusive release (that had bonus tracks) of a Gallagher album was put online in high quality by a Japanese resident. At least the last 4. There are torrent sites dedicated to Japanese music (i.e. JPopSuki) that specifically cater to that market. I don't know where you're coming up with "they dont usually", but for music especially theres a thriving Japanese community because music is so much more expensive over there. Why do you think they launched the stream of the album on iTunes today? This date was chosen for a reason. They did it to counter the Japanese release which will be ripped and put online at any time. It's a pre-emptive move. |
