I have no interest in this reissue if it's a bonus disc with Noel sung demos and rarities again. Liam is the lead singer of the band ffs, give us something from him. spot on. when you have the best singer in the world in an amazing form, even in his outta mind situation, you give this n not some Noel sung demos.

I suspect Noel delayed the announcement for the delayed release. He just love delaying stuff. delaying stuff? this? He indeed used it early 2000 i think

my only hope is to hear demos/tracks with Liam's voice and naked version o the songs (always with Liam) ¿You are talking about music, right? Thanks.

You mean to say you don't want the legendary Mustique demos?! If there are different song versions with Liam on vocals, which I´m sure there are, I´d prefer them over the Mustique demos. It was Liams best vocals at that time and as Rolo said he was the lead singer. If I want someone else singing those songs I youtube some cover versions.

I mean... for real??
We've never been closer to the Mustique demos than now and people are complaining. Sorry, that's fucking insane.
The Holy Grail of Oasis recordings. An extraordinary look inside the creative process behind one of the most overdone, exhilarating, batshit-crazy albums of all time. Tell me you don't want that.
Because I fucking do, thank you very much.

Just a point that it would be good to hear more from the archives of Liam singing, especially from that period. He was the on the form of his life back then and was severely underused on the Morning Glory reissue. There is an easy solution for the label. Release all the Noel sung Mustique demos on a cassette like the Live Demonstration Tape replica and put alternative / rough mixes of Liam in the studio on the bonus CD.

It for sure is interesting but I prefer Liams voice, sorry to disappoint. To me the holy grail would be the DiV Sessions for DBTT tbh. But let´s see. In a few days hopefully we will know more and maybe they really did put effort in this release and everyone will be happy with it.

An extraordinary look inside the creative process behind one of the most overdone, exhilarating, batshit-crazy albums of all time. But it isnt is it? If they were outtakes etc then fair enough. But from what we've heard its more or less the albums tracks with Noel singing. Kinda lame imo

I'm not interested in any Liam sung versions. We have plenty of versions with Liam singing them. The album versions for example, so that's good. It's also interesting to hear the songwriter's version, because that brings something else to the song.
I am looking forward to the Mustique demo's, because I do happen to quite enjoy the songwriter of this band's voice as well.

Actually there´s only 3 songs out of the whole BHN era that are not done by Noel at some point already and are available in more or less good quality (I Got The Fever, My Sister Lover, Street Fighting Man).

Are the Mustique Demo's only acoustic? If so, I'm not looking forward to hear them.

They're definitely not "the album tracks with Noel singing" and that's why they're special. The real core of the BHN tracks before being burned by the cocaine-fueled insanity.

the mustique demos are top nosh but we will only get 1 or 2 because they have to make room for d'you know what I mean at GMEX magic pie "demo" with only difference being a cowbell in the background. remember this reissue is still "chasing the sun" which means...

No-one's saying they don't enjoy Noel's voice - it's just Liam's was better. Plain and simple. His was one of the most distinctive voices in all of rock music. But still, I'm excited for the demos nonetheless. I hope to hear some guitar licks and ideas for riffs that either didn't make the cut in the end, or were hidden under the mess of the final album's mix. Ooh, and we should be able to hear some bass as well! That'll be nice...

Hopefully the management have been reading this thread for the last 2 years and have realised exactly what it is the fans want from this reissue but let's face it, we've been let down far too many times in the past. I hope I'm wrong but the piss poor choice of live tracks and their sound quality on the Morning Glory rarities and the cutting/fading in of Up In The Sky acoustic on Definitely Maybe rarities for example don't fill me with confidence.

The real core of the BHN tracks before being burned by the cocaine-fueled insanity. I always thought it was Be Here Now acoustic with Noel on vocals. oasisdna, who's had the CD for two years now, disproved this a couple of months ago. They're all - barring Angel Child - full band and, apparently quite rocking as well. Owen Morris even said, in an interview he did with davidjay (I think), that he prefers the demo versions to what they recorded a few months later, and expressed his regret that they didn't just overdub Liam's vocals onto the demos instead...

The real core of the BHN tracks before being burned by the cocaine-fueled insanity. I always thought it was Be Here Now acoustic with Noel on vocals. That's what everybody thought until a couple years ago, since Angel Child is from the Mustique tape and is indeed a full-acoustic track. We got some details from Owen Morris in 2013, and oasisdna pretty much confirmed that they've got electric guitars, bass and various stuff in them:

I'm just saying I AM looking forward to them, and that I DO like the fact Noel is singing them, as I like his voice and we have versions with Liam singing already.
