I don't think there's going to be that many "revealing" outtakes with Liam's vocals in the vault. As far as I know, his vocals were always recorded when the songs were nearly finished. Therefore, we would only get tracks which are really different from the final versions AND have Liam singing by creating composite mixes with Liam's vocals on top of the demo/unfinished tracks. But that would be cheating.
That's why most of the released demos/outtakes have Noel's vocals. I mean, just listen to the SOTSOG demos, they sound almost like the finished product.

I have no interest in this reissue if it's a bonus disc with Noel sung demos and rarities again. Liam is the lead singer of the band ffs, give us something from him. You mean to say you don't want the legendary Mustique demos?! He must be a fool, Mustique demos is the Holy Grail. The problem is back then, Liam couldn't be bothered to show up unless it was to record final takes for records, that's why we don't get anything Liam sung When They release demos from HC onwards, it should be very, very interesting, with a lot of alternate takes, since Liam recorded with Gem and Noel did his own demos.

¿You are talking about music, right? Thanks. I'd love to hear the full Mustique demos but I can see where some are coming from. So I don't think it's complaining as such... Just a point that it would be good to hear more from the archives of Liam singing, especially from that period. He was the on the form of his life back then and was severely underused on the Morning Glory reissue. There is an easy solution for the label. Release all the Noel sung Mustique demos on a cassette like the Live Demonstration Tape replica and put alternative / rough mixes of Liam in the studio on the bonus CD. Sorry Jim but I want the Mustique demos on CD/WAV not on a tape that my decades old player will chew on first listen ;-) Fear not, if the Mustique demos are on cassette tape, my buddy Jim will find a way to rip it and share them as digital files. That's what he does. He delivers.

Nothing wrong with having a few vocal only outtakes on it by Liam. Untouched they must sound godlike. There´s no law that says reissues are limited to 3 Cds. Put out 4 and we all would get what we want. And yeah I know it´s just dreaming

How many actually got played do you think!?

Are the Mustique Demo's only acoustic? If so, I'm not looking forward to hear them. Noel described four tracks as sounding like the Stooges, so definitely not all acoustic even with his hyperbole. Elements of the Mustique tape actually made it onto the final album. The plane from the intro to DYKIM and Johnny Depp's slide guitar on FIO for example.

An extraordinary look inside the creative process behind one of the most overdone, exhilarating, batshit-crazy albums of all time. But it isnt is it? If they were outtakes etc then fair enough. But from what we've heard its more or less the albums tracks with Noel singing. Kinda lame imo There'll be at least 10 bass lines that will be entirely new to everyone.

I'm not interested in any Liam sung versions. We have plenty of versions with Liam singing them. The album versions for example, so that's good. It's also interesting to hear the songwriter's version, because that brings something else to the song.I am looking forward to the Mustique demo's, because I do happen to quite enjoy the songwriter of this band's voice as well. Actually there´s only 3 songs out of the whole BHN era that are not done by Noel at some point already and are available in more or less good quality (I Got The Fever, My Sister Lover, Street Fighting Man). Not really. We don't have Noel singing It's Gettin' Better Man!!, and we only have a clip of him singing All Around the World. It'd also be better if we heard his take on I Hope, I Think, I Know that wasn't recorded underwater.

The rest was just as an answer to We also have atleast one version of most of the songs by Noel, so you get the songwriters POV I think? Hey, I don´t have a problem with the Mustique demos. But I would love to hear the songs that I loved for 19 years now also in another version sung by the guy whos voice I adore to this day and not his brother who truly was a great songwriter back then but for sure not the best singer. Looking through the song catalogue by Oasis we probably find more songs sung by Noel at whatever occasions than by Liam which is a shame in my opinion. In BHN times for sure it is. Also for years I read here and on other platforms that Liams voice is so shit now compared to the 90s and now we would have the chance to hear something new from that time but people prefer some demo with Noels voice. I don´t get it tbh.

It's almost as if different people have different preferences when it comes to stuff like that. What's the big deal if not everybody wants the same? They decide, it's not as if there will be a referendum and one side has to persuade the other.
