Well, actually, that overpriced box set didn't even come with the Live Demonstration tape. They made us order that separately! I still don't understand that. True. I bought DM box set and the Live Demonstration tape when they were released 2 years ago, but for MG, I only bought a 3 CD set myself and got a vinyl from my friend for my birthday. I (and many of us on here) am not waiting for G-Mex or Budokan as "bonus tracks/disc". We may be very critical, but we're the ones who spend our hard earned money for these stuff. Correction............the only live tracks I want on this BHN reissue are the live acoustic takes of "Setting Sun" into "Fade In-Out". Those were fucking killer!!!

It's good timing to coincide this with The Supersonic movie coming out. I can see newer/younger fans going to see the movie then buying BHN release, makes good sales sense.
I think they actually should hold back some of the holy grail stuff though...Something to look forward to for us later down the road.

Expect nothing and you'll not be disappointed, that's the way you need to look at this sort of thing unfortunately. That's a great way to look at all facets of life. Thanks.

Think some type of announcement is imminent , someone on another forum has said there's a release date of 7/10/16 and Amazon Germany have listed the new 3 cd remaster

Put all the Mustique demos on a cassette and release it as a bonus like the reproduction of the Live Demonstration tape or as part of the boxset like the promo Morning Glory cassette.
Oasis had the voice of a generation in their ranks, I'd rather have some studio outtakes and / or alternative versions of Liam sung songs on disc three. They vastly underused him on the Morning Glory reissue considering how great he sounded back then.

Considering that we've been waiting for two (!!) years for this reissue, they better include the full Mustique tape.

I will miss those pipes forever.

Why do you feel so entitled to this stuff? It's a business. That hardcore Oasis community is a few hundred/thousand people - not where they'll be making their money from. Of course I hope we get the full tape. But if you stop feeling like you deserve so much you won't be so disappointed. Peace. Motherfucker.

Thing is, the majority of people who buy stuff like this are likely to prefer live versions of songs to demos - doesn't matter that you can get live tracks on the internet. If those live versions are brand new, that's all the better. The Live Demonstration tape showed that they know what the fans want, and that they are willing to give us some of that stuff in addition to a more mainstream oriented remaster. Or, if you wanna be cynical about it, that hardcore fans would buy both the remaster and the Special Super Deluxe Edition Be Here Now Demo Disc...

Just don't think there's much in the vault,....nothing of real interest, anyway..........few reasons, seems Líam was having fun while Noël wrote and demoed the songs, then Líam came in and laid down the studio tracks; and Oasis weren't great musicians, not much improvisation, alternate takes, live was relatively boring as far spontaneity and showmanship, and as I've said, any second year music student could play any of the parts of Oasis songs, which also makes the songs so special.......
God bless.

Imagine there is a song called 'Slow' and is the Be Here Now version of Bonehead's Bank Holiday.

Noel basically did the creation of the songs and Liam came in and just sang over a completed song really (see youtube for those BHN demos)
I think theres basically a whole album of Noel singing SOTSOG, if Liam couldnt sing it, it either was binned or Noel took it over, there must be a few songs out there with Liams vocals on a Noel sung song BUT its whether Noel would want to release a song he sang with Liam singing on it, my feeling says no.
you hear alot of Liam song being sung by Noel but not much the other way around.

Very true. I hope they are released as part of an anthology which is really all I care about rather than these money spinners. It feels like very little care has gone into them when you consider what someone like Jimmy Page has been up to.

And, Noël's a motherfuckër? Just kidding, babe.....well..... Noël's singing voice doesn't bother me, decent singer, pretty good.......but he's definitely a motherfuckër. God bless.

Judging by the previous two releases, these team assembling these reissues don't have access to the original studio session tapes anyway, just the final master tape and any tapes or CDRs that band members or studio personnel might have kept (most of which are likely to be rough mixes rather than alternate takes or session jams).

I guess we have to wait until Noel can't peform anymore. Or get bored with making music.

I bet they use Gmex Japan would be shocked if they actually put some thought in this and got some good live material from the be here now tour all under lock and key never to see the light of day
