See that's your problem ''Noel did nothing wrong''. I'm a massive Liam fan but I admit he was in the wrong, you seem to think it was ALL Liam's fault though which is what annoys me and many others. Noel was as much as in the wrong as Liam for this whole thing.

At the end of the day, Noel has every right to his opinion and has every right to broadcast his opinion. End of. Noel did nothing wrong. Liam is an idiot for thinking he could win the case, but thank God he came to his senses. Case closed. Yet this thread continues to go on. No idea why. You have realized that all the editorials in newspapers are opinions, right? Think how many lawsuits would be floating around England for The Telegraph calling Obama a socialist or whatever label you want to attach for this example. Think about how dangerous that precedent would be. People are entitled to their opinions, ffs. How many times do we have to go through this? "Barack Obama is a socialist" - NOT slanderous "Liam cancelled BECAUSE he had a hangover" - Slanderous Yes the laws may be different in the US, but thats how it is in the UK whether you like it or not. Saying he cancelled because he had a hangover isn't giving an opinion, it is stating something as a fact. And as for GDForever, sorry but that is all speculation. I didn't claim he was sober - you're putting words in my mouth again - I claimed he looked relatively sober in the photo and that a picture of him standing holding a can of Guinness isn't exactly damning. If you have evidence to the contrary then feel free to post it. Getting absolutely blotto to the point where you can't speak hours before a gig is unprofessional. Drinking 18 hours beforehand isn't though in my opinion. I'd class mortal as being barely able to stand, stumbing around and glazed eyes, can you really say that about that photo? I really don't see the relevance of going to a football match either.

As a fan who loves both Noel and Liam the whole episode saddended me and probably made it even more impossible that they ever get back together as Oasis at some point in the future
What i do find embarassing is 'team liam' or 'team noel' like people are Take That fans and moaning when another fan slags off their favourite !
None of us know the real story, a lot of people seemed to jump to Noels defense instantly but as it turns out it looked like Noel was in the wrong and Liam just wanted his name cleared.
Its all got too silly though, i want the greatest band ever to get back together, not have squabbles like this non stop. I'm hoping in time the dust will settle and something will sort itself out though. At the moment with their solo careers i want both Noel/Liam to be successful

Nice to see Mum Peggy slapped the suit away from Liam.
For me it was just only publicity for Noel
