am sure it won't be as
a) its the sun b) noel got his single out next week.
I'm guessing if any truth (i.e. the suns not made it up ) then "they'll settle out of court"

This is a joke right?
If true, this is unspeakably lame. Suing Noel because he said they argued over Pretty Green? Are you fucking kidding me?

The article preview says: "LIAM Gallagher yesterday launched an explosive High Court lawsuit against brother Noel - branding him a LIAR. Firebrand Liam, 38, issued a libel writ over 44-year-old Noel's claim an Oasis festival gig was axed because the singer was hungover."

i would guess the fact that they edited that comment out of the YT video, the same day. They knew it was potentially harmful. I wouldn't be surprised if V festival have made a sound they might sue oasis for pulling out. (i would guess the contract would allow the gig to be pulled on health grounds only)
so this could be a front to stop that happening

Anyone say something again about reunion 2015?
This is lame. I understand what Liam is on about though. Noel should never have said that it was because of a hangover. I think it was a legitimate soar throat probably caused by drinking and overusing his vocals.
If Liam wants to sue I think he is perfectly within his legal rights. Though I wish he wouldn't.
After all the shit that they have said about eachother over the years this is a bit stupid. Like for instance saying that Noel premeditated the Paris incident.
It'd be a good gesture of Noel to apologize for his comment though. Although I'm sure he is still on his high horse.
I doubt V fest could win a court case against Oasis based on a single embittered comment by a former band member though. It'd be very easy in a court case where the burden of proof is on the accuser to argue that Noel didn't actually mean it.

Since when is The Sun a credible source?
Everything they publish should be considered a lie until it's proven otherwise.

Its nice to see them front page news again... but not like this, even if it turns out to be false!!!
Might get some interest going for Noels solo though which could be good news for him.
With it being in The Sun though I have my doubt over its legitimacy until it comes from the mouth of Liam or Noel. Noel has a few interview/web chat things so hopefully he can comment then.

I'm surprised by all of you. THIS IS FANSTASTIC! Noel and Liam front page of the biggest paper in the UK. Everyone will be talking about them today.
I love it stirred up, and i love that Noel, as much as I love him, is being held to account for things he says to damage reputations of other people working in the industry. There has never been anything commendable about him doing that.
It's great publicity, it will never end up in court, so just enjoy the exposure like it's 97.

lmao this is hilariously ridiculous. i lol'd @ Souldigger's ballwashers comment.
Seriously WTF Liam!? how could he win this thing anyways? it's a matter of he said- he said. I guess the rest of the band could testify? i think i've watched too many Law&Order episodes hehe...
Just give him a call and end this nonsense.

I fully understand Liam and am surprised that many people seem to think it's lame. There are principles involved + he's only asking for an apology. If Noel is lying then he shouldn't come away with this.
