Alot of SOTSOG was that change in direction they needed and i dont think Liam was against it at all. The reason they went back to the forulaic Oasis was because of sales and publit perception. Again, DOYS had Falling Down, To Be Where Theres Life etc so they had it a bit there too. Isnt as if Noel went down a different route for any of his solo albums until now and even the songs so far arent anywhere near this change in direction i keep hearing about. Plus one of Liam's first songwriting contributions was BOADC, which is hardly "rock n roll". It rocked when they played it live

Its become really easy to blame Liam for the lack of creative direction in Oasis, but no one stopped SOTSOG. That was heading the right way but just bombed in sales (in oasis terms) and Noel went back to the usual formula. Which i fucking garuntee will happen for the next album if this one does the same. What about beady eye bombing? Noel wasn’t in that band.

Liam somehow seems to find the time. Yeah. Well, that’s because he doesn’t write any f***ing songs. So fucking rattled P I know Noel, Andy, Gem co wrote most of Liam songs in Oasis and beady eye. There’s lots of interviews of Liam talking about it. And Noel, Andy and Gem too. Like Noel writing the solo for BOADC. You can hear their style/trademarks. Why are you guys scared to accept the truth?

Right now I don't no. I used to like him more but this has faded over the years, so the fact that I think he is a bit of a bollock now doesn't invalidate my love for Oasis or my want to comment on them or my interest in what he releases next. There is also a quite a large amount of the forum dedicated to someone I am most definitely a fan of and lots of other bits I enjoy reading on various topics. I thought that would all be pretty obvious. Liking either of them is not a prerequisite to being a member of the Live4ever forum. That's true, Tom. People should be able to deal and accept if others prefers the one you don't prefer. I'm both fan of Noel and Liam, but I'm still a big Oasis fan, but I don't have a problem if other people are not fan of Noel/Liam solo. I don't have to force them to liking same ones I like. Except for me

You’re not alone brother 🙂 All I can say is... if The Spider And The Fly agrees with you then you're probably wrong. Noel’s music is better then Liam’s, is the bottom line. If Noel wanted to, he could write songs for any singer and Liam can’t. Fact!!!

Noel introduced that particular term. Ask him to define it. It doesn't take a genius to work out the `parka monkeys' are the ones attacking his family on social media. He more or less defined who the parka monkeys are in the recent interview, which clarifies his position on the people he is addressing/attacking, and also on not wanting an Oasis reunion. Made total sense to me, and I totally understand why he is lashing back out. Do you understand that too? You’re not alone brother 🙂

Yeah, John Lennon could be a prick. And Noel's current attitude mirrors John's post-Beatles attitude in a lot of ways: Disdain for the work that made him who he is, scorn for the fans that miss it, and the deluded belief that whatever he's working on now is as interesting as what made him a legend in the first place. Noel's not restricting himself to people who "attack his family on social media". Lennon was bitter, yes, but that lasted like 2 years? He chilled after that. And let's not compare Noel with Lennon. Lennon came with Imagine after the split which is as big as any Beatles tune. Noel, in all honesty, hasn't come up with a song in 15 years or so. I think he's forgotten his roots. He's not someone with a big mouth now, he's just an old dick. A mighty eagle dick. 🤡

Trump's pretty much offended everyone at this point except some white people, most notably, white males....Noël's nowhere near Trump level of offense. Thanks. Not true. Fake news

I’ve been living under Donald Trump’s bullshit this whole fucking year, and i gotta tell you, Noel’s Interviews for this record makes him sound just like him. Maybe it’s Trump fatigue but it’s not amusing me at the moment. He’s less funny/insightful - more defensive, insulting. Makes sense, trump and Noel are both Geminis. This is ridiculous.

so i gave the album antother spin, since it's been out now for over six weeksm i thought it would only be fair: wall of glass: still absolutely mediocre song. at least not as boring as most of the songs that follow. 6/10bold: the epitome of boring. 5/10greedy soul: it's like bold, pt. 2. 5/10paper crown: it actually has a melody and 2/3 is pretty enjoyable, but that middle 8 (or whatever you wanna call it) starting at around 2:15 is hideous. 6.75/10for what it's worth: again, the start/the verses are pretty good and i also like the bass line, but fuck me, the chorus is so bloody cringeworthy, i can't find words to describe my disgust. what was he thinking? good god... 5/10when i'm in need: another liam-generic. it doesn't give me anything still. never will i guess. 5/10you better run: another song that i feel i will never again listen to. you know that urge when you think 'oh, i wanna listen to THAT song. NOW.'. will never happen for this one. 5/10i get by: another song that i feel i will never again listen to. you know that urge when you think 'oh, i wanna listen to THAT song. NOW.'. will never happen for this one. 5/10chinatown: for me, it's somehow paper crown 2. it doesn't have that part where you think, 'fuck me, that's bad', but the lyrics bring the whole song down a bit. 6.5/10come back to me: one if the songs i can enjoy. it's not a masterpiece, but it has a melody. 7/10 universal gleam: welcome to bold, pt 3. it reminds me in parts of a primal scream song. 5/10i've all i need: best song on the album. and it's not even close. lately, i've been listening to it quite a lot. the chorus melody is awesome. love it. 8.75/10it doesn't have to be that way: 2nd best song. it's been stuck in my head for a while. i found myself singing 'it doesn't have to be that wayyyyy" for no reason, because it's infectious. 8.5/10all my people:bold, pt 4.hm... 5/10i never wann be like you: 'come on, come on, who are you? no one, no one, ain't that true?' fucking hell, the cringe is strong in this one. 4/10verdict: sorry, guys, it's just not a good album. for most of the parts, it's plain boring, for some it's cringeworthy. it has its moments, that can be enjoyed. they are rare, though. 😀

I’m not wishing it’s who Liam is. I hope he does change as a person. He’s too big in his head What's your function on this forum? Spout shit about Liam nonstop? I love Liam as a singer but as a person not so much. If his album was good I would praise him. His band to me sounds weak. I think he should play the songs he wrote in Oasis and stop butchering classic songs (not his voice). Liam is very unprofessional in my eyes. I get it, he’s god to a lot of people out here. But he’s not. I hope he proves me wrong and grows up. There it is. I’ve a lot for this forum and the Oasis community. Spent tonnes of money, travelled all over to see them. Got the biggest collection of vinyls and boots. Recorded a wack of shows and shared them. Got a few more to share. Never asked for a penny. I’ve got many people to start listening to Oasis and spread the Gallagher’s songs all the time.

really? One stupid radio thing and some how that’s a sign of things going bad? Prob felt prepping for a gig or resting was more important then a radio show. Liam loves his fans and is giving it all to give them what they want. So let’s not do this. Let’s enjoy this run of amazing times we never thought we would have Get you’re popcorn ready.

This is just another bullshit Noel comment. I don't condone liam's tweets but i also don't agree with it being one sided. This is social media, if your going to be dishing out insults then you have to be willing to accept the same insults. Sara and Anais are opening participating in the same bullshit behavior that Liam does... so I don't even get their victim claim. Besides, noel.. has been publicly trolling Liam, Michael Hutchinson, blur... the list goes on.. throughout his career so he doesn't get to play the victim card either. Just to be clear, so far Noel has insulted- 1. Parka monkey 2. Pigeon vs eagle bullshit 3. Oasis fans 4. Nghfb fans 5. Liam fans And now a bullshit social media victim complaint. Yeah, he needs a new PR team bc hes just digging himself a deeper hole. Its not 1996, where he can openly insult anyone and everyone just accepts it bc of who he is. Noel hasn’t offended me. I’ll buy three copies of his album now

Thanks for removing my posts again mods. Maybe you guys are erasing the wrong posts and Oasis could reform again. Noel will just keep on doing great with his solo career. You don’t Liam and his fans anyways.
