On and on If youd seen any of my posts ive already said Holy Mountain has grown on me alot (despite all mates/people around me hating on it quite ferociously) and i am a fan of Beautiful World and How To Fly (to a lesser extent because of its repetitiveness), fort knox is a bit shite to me but oh well. Anyway this idea that im just gonna bash his album cos i dont like what hes become as a personality is nonsense. hes the same Noel but I would say a better person. A family man.

Ive said on here alot lately what i think of Noel now and stuff like this only further emphasises that. What are you achieving in all this Noel? That would be my question. Liam comes along with the odd over the top, personal comment that im sure we all say is wrong but hes making digs that only offend Noel and its inbetween many other funny, light hearted tweets and interviews that have promoted him as the Liam the bigger fans always knew him as and gave more of the public that. Noel was the master at this stuff when i got into Oasis! He was quick witted and just genuinely a fucking funny bloke that was actually a voice of the people and that was fucking rare for me growing up then. Now? He's regressing. Hes letting the ill advised personal digs from Liam actually boil over into something very ugly. I do get the argument that "liam says something and no one criticises and noel says something and everyone jumps on it" that some of you will also throw at this but you know what for me it is simple - liam has had this shit off Noel since day 1 of oasis. When i watch 94-97 Noel theres quip after quip about Liam on a very personal level and i think actually Liam has always wanted recognition from Noel and thats what it stems from. Anyway things are well and truly under way now and its gonna end up with someone actually having to apologise in a press release again like Noel had to. In the end they both might actually take this too far and be national jokes. I can’t wait for you to bash Noel’s album in a week or so. Even tho it will be great. Sell more albums then Liam. On and on

Gallagher "Really? Who had the plate almost didn't succeed. My producer continued to say: 'Why don't you try something else!' I get it on my hips of such vague guidelines. But precise guidelines."
HUMO You are always been good in choosing beautiful titles: I bet that 'Who built the Moon?' not on architecture, nor to the moon.
Gallagher (whispering) "Imagine that there is a huge ship is that the ocean, and that 'Moon bevaart', and that the mysterious designer thereof… (He reads the surprise on my face after his MUDDLED explanation). You see, that title is mind fuckin'!"
HUMO say that well, it is as if i have taken LSD. It makes no sense.
Gallagher "Hola, 't is poetry, man!" (The camera crew goes away)
HUMO Wait, if you go away, he makes me helemáál! Who are they?
Gallagher "They make a documentary about me, they follow me a month. (Dry) because i am a star. And you can't."
HUMO De Oasis-documentary 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' is very good. But there was a time when you had saved for posterity by that film crew was established?
Gallagher, "They have not filmed in South America, while we acted for 90,000 ecstatic Argentineans too! Fookin' insane! That i had my sons like shown. When we recently looked after my act together to U2, turned to me and my youngest is called: 'Dad, which guests are much better than you! And they have more success!' That picked up yet.
"I also remember a foggy, cold day in Peru: When I wrote in one day 'If I Had A Gun' and 'Everybody's on the run'. In one day! Maybe it was a benign form of altitude sickness. If that was filmed, then it was a perfect workshop for aspiring songwriters."
HUMO An insider told me that the main reason for David Gilmour z'n last two tours was to z'n eight children to show what dad used to do.
Gallagher "That may be. I know David Well, I was recently at a birthday party. Maybe he is my favorite guitar player. Of all time. I recently had a nerdy discussion with him about 'The Wall'. He does not like that because it is more the project of Roger Waters was, according to him, and because there are too few good melodies. I told him: "But your guitar play on 'The Wall' is iconic, mate!' But that he waves and then he starts to Dicks about 'Wish You Were Here' (laughs). It's still deep, hear, the feud between the two."
HUMO to a 'Reservoir Dogs'-metaphor: On all your previous plates were you Mr. Black, and in this you Mr. Rainbow.
Gallagher "Everyone wanted Mr. Black? And none of those gangsters wanted to Mr. Pink."
HUMO Now go me that in Oasis Liam Mr. Pink.
Gallagher "I know rock groups with only Mr. Pinks (laughs). If you mean that this album contains many more colors and styles, and that I am out of the straitjacket of rocker and the genius behind Oasis break, is it true what you say. I used to the sound of Oasis, to the brand, the obligations of a house of trust… Now i am free and I want my plates as sound. There is a whole musical world beyond that i barely on the map. I want to see what i can do it. This is the result of my collaboration with producer David Holmes."
HUMO apparently ordered Holmes you vlakaf: play me a guitar solo which you can dance!' You accept orders today?
Gallagher "I was 'She taught me how to fly' play and David said: "That sounds like Oasis'. I: 'That is good, right? I bén Oasis!' But he pushte me to do anything else. I am open to other impulses, so I tried it, with varying results."
HUMO I know that it is your friends of U2 has always annoyed that they in the discotheques no foot on the ground. You frustrated?
Gallagher "No. You could dance to 'Ballad of the Mighty I' or 'What a Life'."
Nowadays is electronic and dance music so neurotic that i would have to operate to touch them
HUMO Do you mean by 'dance' that comatose zwalpen where Liam was so well?
Gallagher "I have in any case never pursued success in the nightclub. U2 at a given moment. Today it is so electronic

DutchLiam is only good enough to serve as an organ donor if something happens to me " A month and a half after Brother Liam has released his solo debut, Noel Gallagher also releases a new record with 'Who Built the Moon?' 'In the past I was stuck with the sound of Oasis. Now I am free and I want my records to sound that way. "He is not lacking in self-confidence:" I am certainly bigger than Jesus. "
SERGE SIMONART LAURENCE WATSON I am ten minutes early on our appointment in the office of Ignition, the bunker from which the worldwide empire of Oasis and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds was built. When I browse Jimi Hendrix in a photo book, Noel walks into the conference room with sunglasses and a camera crew in his wake. He does not greet me, but points at me and sticks a tirade to the camera about the previous six times we spoke to each other: "This guy is really crazy. What did he get all of me !? There was that time when we played "The Office" together, and ... "It surprises me that he has remembered all that in detail, since our first meeting dates back to 1995. He continues for a full minute, ending with a grin:" Come, I'll let him ask his first question, then you can experience live the death of music journalism. '
HUMO For that they come thirty years late? How did that giant sign of King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, the cafe in Glasgow where you first performed with Oasis, get caught up here? Noel Gallagher (while the camera crew keeps filming) «We got that as a gift when they renovated King Tut. (Musing) It is bizarre that the building as it was then no longer exists. No idea what to do with it. But it's rock 'n' roll history! » HUMO My favorite on your new album is the beautiful 'Dead in the Water', but that is just an unfinished, clogged bonus track. Gallagher «I like to do that and I've always done that: mopping the best song on a B-side. I always enjoy it when fans ask me annoyedly: "Why is not that song on the record, why is not it a single?" But is 'Dead in the Water' really your favorite? Do not fuckin 'say that, mate. I have worked so hard on all the other songs, while 'Dead in the Water' is a fluke. I composed it in twenty minutes and then another hour or so before the text. I wrote it when my wife was away one night, visiting Scotland. Should she do more, it delivers good songs.
I even forgot that I had negligently taken it up after a radio session in Dublin. I started playing it in that studio, between two takes of 'Dying of the Light'. I was so lost in thought that I did not even know they were still recording. But it's got the magic, so we have not worked on it any further. As far as I know, this is the first time that a song lands on a record that has only been played once. I think I'm going to play it live. " HUMO What is the opposite of those barely twenty minutes that you worked on 'Dead in the Water' - a track that after months of hard work and several takes was not good? Gallagher «We have worked on 'The Man Who Built the Moon' for a long time.» HUMO That's my other favorite. Gallagher «Really? He almost did not make it. My producer kept saying, "Try something else!" I get it on my hips of such vague guidelines. But of precise guidelines too.

Gallagher «Do you know who swears by 'Roll It Over'? Ryan Adams. He once begged if he could sing it live. I did not see that at first, but we tried it during a sound check and he sang it phenomenally well. Unbelievable. That reminds me: Liam always refused sound checks, he found it below his dignity. While it is damn essential - you recognize the foolish rock star by the fact that he no longer checks sound. "

Liberal fascism at its best here An oxymoron generally used by believers of the latter who recognising "fascism" as a dirty word try to apply it to the former. How bout liberitis disease.

Liberal fascism at its best here Honest answer, I have no idea it was just a daft comment to get the more humourless members a bit hot under the collar. Although on reflection if I was trying to answer it seriously I'd say part of being one the very best is putting yourself out there creatively and taking real risk. Noel wants to be in that company and has tried in the past but has always backed away and retreated to his safe place musically. Probably turning fifty has made him realise it's now or never hence this direction with his new album but imo the actual music I've heard doesn't live upto his ambition. It's good music and maybe a bit different for noel but nothing revolutionary. And if.Liam is posh spice would that mean noel wears Liam's underpants? 😨 😁 see carlober people can handle it. Noel is one of best. Personally, I haven’t heard a songwriter blow my mind in 20 years.

Noel Gallagher is the David Beckham of music. The best in the world at what he does well, but to many gaps in his skill set to be put alongside the very best. Mods keep on deleting my posts.
