Pretty impressive. Quite enjoyed the fan memories. Just enough to give you a good sense of how it was, but not too intrusive. Well done. Now bring on those DVDs

Stuff that isn't classic 60's/70's indie songs from white male bands/singers, to be honest. All good tunes, of course, but he's been doing those kind of covers for three decades. Give us a Prince tune. Let's hear him turn Billie Holiday's "Good Morning Heartache" into something that could be released now. Give us a cosmic-pop version of "Living for the City" by Stevie Wonder. Do something by Bjork. If it's all the usual suspects then I'm sure it'll be a perfectly competent release, but a missed opportunity to show off the kind of wide range of influences that so much of his best music has had under the surface. Especially since Who Built the Moon. Have fun with it, Noel! I like where you're going with this. But... it's the young bands that are going to have the energy for this. If there are any left around. Don't believe Noel has it in him anymore. Old as well, I get it. Willing to let the wine mellow though.

Both are solid tunes. Flying on the ground just nails it for me. The sofa version is the confirmation I really didn't need to convince me. Well done.

I feel like Help is the natural bridge from Beatlemania to Rubber Soul. Which I prefer to Revolver in some ways.

Under The Volcano. Not strictly Beatles related, but looks very interesting. Lots of home movie clips and inside stories.

Noticed he made a dig in the liner notes for the BOTMI video in the best of. In another interview he said he has no clue what's going on in these two music videos either. That makes at least two of us. Great tune though

When he said from BHN to DBTT was pretty forgettable (that hurt, btw), did he mean DOYS is this amazing masterpiece or did he just forget about it?Yeah, he forgot.

9/10 Really liking this one. Stuck right in my head all day. Didn't get that with the last one. Thought it was alright, seemed to be missing something though for me.
Kind of chuckled when I read, he'd said he was in his Weller period. I get it now. Looking forward to hearing it live.

Absolutely believe Stay Young should have been on there. That's a fierce overblown tune that for me would fit right in. I'd swap it for Magic Pie. Although that song has grown on me a bit over the years, never was really up there imo.
Going Nowhere is a beautiful tune that evokes a bit of melancholy emotion (not my standard groove) for me, but I think it sits just fine as B side.

"Don't be afraid when you're rolling the dice. Life is trip that you don't take twice" Great advice, sung in such a cheery old school Noel way. Really enjoying this. Big grins round are way Thanks Noel.
