Back on topic.
This version is interesting. Makes sense that Noel wouldn't be on here. Maybe more like this coming our way. Hopefully.

He said with sarcasm? I do dig the AI version of Way better than the Beatles version. Better than The Beatles version? Not sure about that, I mean it's not real IMHO. Lots of great tunes, the Beatles have. This is not one of them.

I think an AI 2000-2008 Oasis would be better than the real 2000-2008 Oasis. He said with sarcasm? I do dig the AI version of Way better than the Beatles version.

I'm So Bored at 1.15 speed is awesome. At 1.25 speed, it's sweet like serious punk. I thought it was great at 1.00.
This whole thing is a ton of fun.

The album doesnt really have a bad song on it, it flows really well. As many have said the production is an issue. i have the vinyl and it isnt too bad. Guess time will tell how it stands up but for me its a fun, easy to listen to project and great to hear liam singing with decent guitars again, 7 outta 10. Not for me. 8.5/10 Really having this.

Great second tune here. Liam on the last couple was like a Macca record. 4 or 5 songs I really liked. The folks using the word "organic" here, I get it. High hopes.

I recently got into Rilo Kiley. I knew their "hit" "Go Ahead" 20 years ago but never really dug into their catalog. But the first 4 records are quality. The last one is a bit too mainstream pop for me. But the rest is some really good indie music, with that warm early 00s sound. They def have some nice tunes.

Really keep coming back to this toon. The rainbow recitation is less painful for me than 4 bars of Once, Once, Once, Once. A 1:45 solo...very nice. High hopes for the balance of the record.

The Phonic's version of Hindu Times is superior.

Today It's the new one. Ask me tomorrow, it might be Goats Head Soup or maybe 10 others.
Been playing it straight through, which is rare nowadays. Didn't like Bigger Bang too much. This one shines. That live Heaven posted above has mind blowing energy and soul.
Really like Get Close. Playing this one some extra times. When the sax comes in, it's like Bobby Keys never left us.

Better Days, Everything's Electric, Diamond In The Dark, C'mon You Know, all great. More Power, the big live version with all the background singers is well... powerful. All the Rockfield versions are better. Not much use for the rest of them. Personal favorite, The Joker.
Oh yeah. it's not actually on the album. Somebody screwed up there.

Good info. Noel finally had enough in 2009. I believe it was one of the contributing factors why he walked away.So do i. I also think Noel's own decline vocally is making him consider getting it back. I get it. I believe Noel's vocals are strong now. But he knows doesn't bring the excitement that Liam does. It bugs him.

Got a couple here. Right center about 80% back of second section, on the aisle. I'm ok with Noel playing first.

Thing is, a lot of it isn't *his stuff. He just rips off other people's (Star Shaped Tambourine in this instance) content, and then has the gall to put a PayPal link on every video. He once took a clip of better days (before it was released) that I remastered, and he uploaded it without crediting me or the original uploader! That puts a different perspective on it for me. Always should be giving credit for other peoples work.

Seems to me he does a nice job. I quite enjoy coming home on Friday, having a cocktail after a hectic week. Checking his new stuff. Listening to the 8th Oasis album now. No harm, no foul. Would love to hear Liam in the Reflex version. Thing is, a lot of it isn't *his stuff. He does credit Star Shaped Tambourine. I just like hearing new stuff. Re: Paypal. I'm old. When the landline on the wall rang. My old man would say "just because it rings, doesn't mean I have to answer it".

Am i the only one who thinks Maxi Gonzalez is overrated? Seems to me he does a nice job. I quite enjoy coming home on Friday, having a cocktail after a hectic week. Checking his new stuff. Listening to the 8th Oasis album now. No harm, no foul. Would love to hear Liam in the Reflex version.

Eh... how many more Beatles/Lennon covers do we need from both Gallaghers? Not a need, but a want - I'm Losing You It's all a laugh anyway. Nice to hear different versions than the ones I've heard two million times. Can't wait for AI Yoko

One of my favs from the Imagine album. I like slide guitar. Also nicely used on TGFGU. I'm cool with this.
Anybody have an idea who is playing that slide?

Man hes outdone himself yet again. Not bad. I still get some Liam imitator vibes from it and the vocals are waaaayyy high compared to the rest of the mix, but otherwise it's pretty cool I'm feeling the bias of knowing it's not Liam. Thinking the third or fourth iteration of this will be killing it... but for now, I'm good with this.

I think this is more about Liam's success splitting the fanbase than WBTM, and he can't get over it for some reason. I believe it's both. I find it interesting that he is now acknowledging it.
