She's talking about the end of the world. The last sentence is ironic "relax and rest in peace; it's just the end of the world". Makes sense to me. Gonna do the rest for us?

Because Noel’s kids think it’s a backyard jam! He did say some months back that the French line could be about polar ice caps melting and other political stuff, which had the interviewer ask if he'd gone political. (ties in with him saying it's a sarcastic song on how beautiful the world is) Anyone can translate?

I like it, but it's not quite as upbeat/fun as I was hoping. It's probably not the best that it couldn't get Superorganism off my mind. they're great. I oddly enjoyed that as well.

Think that's my fav so far. The bar wasn't really high for me to be fair. Megaphone reminds of Neil Young Greendale album.

Baked Camembert. Can’t beat that How many dB though? Percentage volume left to right? Effects? Can baked cheese be mixed with and still sound alright with outrageous modern compression standards? I'm so confused

detroitmadferit Profile > edit profile > personal tab. Spot for sig towards the bottom. Thanks! Are you seeing Liam in Chicago or Toronto this month? No. Gonna settle for the one I caught for now. Be nice to see him roll back this way, been a long time. Might look at that again next year though if he's still around. Much easier for me to get away in the spring / summer.

8527 That's nowt, I want to see footage of Paul McCartney allegedly chewing that carrot on 'Vegatables' by the Beach Boys, or definitely munching carrots and celery on 'Receptacle for the Respectable' by Super Furry Animals Fucking A. A McCartney story I've never heard. Had to look that one up. Cheers.

I might be the only one that likes his super raw, raspy voice. I’m glad he doesn’t sound like a kid/young man now. You are not. Life happens doesn't it?

Seems to me if you watch and listen to old BBC broadcasts >>> The Who, The Yardbirds, Zep, Neil Young, Peel etc. They knew how to do it in past times. Also German TV engineers seemed to get it it right. They were way ahead of the curve then. American shows always sounded shit until maybe Don Kirshner rock concert broadcasts. I get what everyone saying now though. BBC has been amazing at preserving the old stuff though. I always give them credit for that. My two pence
