Early rumours for headliners next year are Elton John, Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkeys. If Liam is still touring guess would be take a sub slot before AM? I sure hope that they won't be headlining Glasto next year in particular Taylor Swift. Liam should be headlining one of the three days if he's still touring by then.

She was due to headline in 2020. She's literally one of the biggest stars in the world. That's what Glasto is about, that total mix.

If Liam would do it as a UK exclusive performance or something he would deffo be a headliner at Glastonbury. Right now he is also a bigger draw in the UK than AM but I don't think Glastonbury would book him as they want a different mix for their headliners.
I'd say it's more likely he'll play British Summer Time next year.

I just don't think LG - or NG - have the international appeal or are real 'difference makers' in music at this time. Not saying that this is what you need to do to headline Glasto at all. But you know, Liam has been at the previous 2 glastos before this one, which were 2017 and 2019. And him selling out 160-170k at Knebworth is amazing, but doesn't necessarily mean he's now Glasto headliner set up. I honestly don't think that slot has ever suited Oasis/the Gallaghers since the first time they did it in 2005. It might do now, if they came back as Oasis, because they'd obviously just be doing Oasis songs, but as solo acts I don't think they have it. They wouldn't get away with playing enough new stuff, whereas Macca can, because he's Macca.

Another thing that Noel and Liam have in their favour is that Emily Eavis is a really big fan of them and Oasis.

I can see LG getting the 'legend' slot which seems to be reserved for Saturday night. But not next year, would probably be on his next album cycle. I don't think Noel has the appeal... could be wrong. Oasis if they reunited would obviously be a shoo-in.

Ha! He may not be back at all. Perhaps people are not aware here that some disability leaders are asking Emily Eavis right now to ban Noel for life, or for a strong apology, so seriously doubt he’ll be in the running for a headline spot anytime soon. She may be a fan but festivals really don't enjoy having to do damage control.
I’m painfully aware that a lot of people here just don’t get it—and aren’t willing to open up their minds enough to even try—but be that as it may, speaking strictly as someone with real-life experience in the management of entertainment-based images, Noel could stand to mend some fences. They are very mendable.
