so i gave the album antother spin, since it's been out now for over six weeksm i thought it would only be fair: wall of glass: still absolutely mediocre song. at least not as boring as most of the songs that follow. 6/10bold: the epitome of boring. 5/10greedy soul: it's like bold, pt. 2. 5/10paper crown: it actually has a melody and 2/3 is pretty enjoyable, but that middle 8 (or whatever you wanna call it) starting at around 2:15 is hideous. 6.75/10for what it's worth: again, the start/the verses are pretty good and i also like the bass line, but fuck me, the chorus is so bloody cringeworthy, i can't find words to describe my disgust. what was he thinking? good god... 5/10when i'm in need: another liam-generic. it doesn't give me anything still. never will i guess. 5/10you better run: another song that i feel i will never again listen to. you know that urge when you think 'oh, i wanna listen to THAT song. NOW.'. will never happen for this one. 5/10i get by: another song that i feel i will never again listen to. you know that urge when you think 'oh, i wanna listen to THAT song. NOW.'. will never happen for this one. 5/10chinatown: for me, it's somehow paper crown 2. it doesn't have that part where you think, 'fuck me, that's bad', but the lyrics bring the whole song down a bit. 6.5/10come back to me: one if the songs i can enjoy. it's not a masterpiece, but it has a melody. 7/10 universal gleam: welcome to bold, pt 3. it reminds me in parts of a primal scream song. 5/10i've all i need: best song on the album. and it's not even close. lately, i've been listening to it quite a lot. the chorus melody is awesome. love it. 8.75/10it doesn't have to be that way: 2nd best song. it's been stuck in my head for a while. i found myself singing 'it doesn't have to be that wayyyyy" for no reason, because it's infectious. 8.5/10all my people:bold, pt 4.hm... 5/10i never wann be like you: 'come on, come on, who are you? no one, no one, ain't that true?' fucking hell, the cringe is strong in this one. 4/10verdict: sorry, guys, it's just not a good album. for most of the parts, it's plain boring, for some it's cringeworthy. it has its moments, that can be enjoyed. they are rare, though. hey tommy, have you ever thought about the fact that you will not live forever? i once did it when i was a little fella. i almost shat my pants.

Now that I listened to it a million times, I'd say ~7,5/10
It's quite a grower.

On October 6th I thought the album was fantastic, now six weeks or so later my mind has not changed. It’s epic.

Same, I listen it usually twice per day on my commute and it never gets old .....love it and genuinely get excited at certain tracks and points of tracks. I was also listening to Hey Now yesterday and I think AYW lives up to that standard! Its one of those albums where nearly every track could be a single.

I've been giving some of the better songs a few listens and I might upgrade to a 4 but I'm still undecided.
Cheers ✂️

I'll be honest, I'm pretty much only listening to Wall of Glass, Paper Crown, and Come Back to Me these days.

Still listening to AYW every day, still loving it and am turning people on to the album/Liam. He/his people have done a tremendous job marketing this album, so kudos to them.

I still love the album. When I'm In Need and I Get By are the only tracks I skip. An 8/10 for me.
