Idiot question - but how are them two Oasis albums still in the charts? Is it based on sales / downloads? Or is it more likely to be on streams I'm thinking it's mostly streams and vinyl that's popular.

"Time flies" #29 (last week #25) "Morning glory" #49 (last week #38) "Definitely maybe" #75 (last week #68) "As you were" #83 (last week #65)
"Who built the moon?" finally out of the top 100 after 33 weeks charting.
"As you were" may tail it anytime now since it has plummetted in the chart (41 weeks charting).

Time Flies #21 Morning Glory #38 Definitely Maybe #63 As You Were #95 (46th week charting) How the fuck is Time Flies in the charts? Probably gets lots of streams and I guess will always be a birthday present candidate. It doesn't take many copies to get that high. Also Liam's big gigs probably help.

Why is it hard to believe people would want to own the only Oasis singles compilation? They only have 2 retrospective compilations ffs, and its a much better reflection of their quality than Stop The Clocks.

As You Were up to 86 in UK midweek chart. Proof of the saying 'There is no such thing as bad publicity' I don't see that in the midweek chart, actually: www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart-update/Anyway, "As you were" has finally left the top 100 after 46 consecutive weeks charting. That's longer than any Oasis album since "(What's the story) Morning glory?": "Dig out your soul" charted 33 weeks, "Don't believe the truth" 41, "Be here now" 47 weeks in total but only 34 consecutive weeks after its release, & "Heathen chemistry" stayed in the charts for 49 weeks in total but only 40 consecutive weeks. Only the first NGHFB album recently beat "As you were"'s chart presence (54 consecutive weeks, 60 in total).
